He didn't have any backstory, his only power was being able to stretch his own shadow, and this dude still ran fades with some of the meanest mfs in the series. Even if he didn't win the actual battle, he would at least fight them to a standstill and allow the rest of his plan to work (which still technically counts a victory). And while everyone else got some massive power upgrade, he inherits a set of knives from his late mentor and is like "cool, now I have 2 things. You all saw what I could do with just 1".

We were stunned at how hard the music got going, and it isn't until three days later I find out it was the man's theme queueing up.
