I finally played MARIO MULTIVERSE! - 30 Easy Challenge Mode Levels

I recently got invited to join the beta of Mario Multiverse, so here is an hour-long mostly unedited video of me playing the game!

god damn, how long are they gonna keep this closed beta. if anything, them inviting so many youtubers to "hype it" before its released is just begging for disaster

Well one thing is that idk if they really invited me because I was a youtuber. I think I was invited because I made my own mario fangame and posted it on their public discord server. Also it seems to me like they are not planning to release the full game publicly anytime soon, unfortunately. One thing that's being worked on is a version of the game with no mario in it that will be freely available. The whole reason why it's in closed beta is that they don't want to get taken down by nintendo, which makes sense I suppose.

@@BookwormKevin well if theyre not going to release it as mario what is the point of continuing to develop it as such. its stupid. besides, nintendo only seems to go after fangames that are directly competing with an upcoming game, and no hints of Mario Maker 3 exist yet

@Badsy_the_Edgecat yeah I agree but there's not really anything I can do about it. And I respect the devs decision, its ultimately his choice. I'm so surprised to see how much is in the game, considering that all the graphics were made by the community, for a game that has like 800 players total.
