Slight correction, Kingsley was only _one_ Hobgoblin. The story behind the many alter egos of the Hobgoblin is legitimately fascinating, look it up sometime.
I heard about Romulus in the Wolverine Origin series, and he should've been written as a more brutal, and ruthless enemy to Wolverine instead of just having a fraud history as a lupine mutant just to ruin Wolverine's life.
I disagree. This guy should have been a cosmic villain whose minions constantly make trouble for the United Federation of Planets in general and the crew of the Starship Enterprise in particular. -- Wait, what do you mean it's been done?
They did! Like, it's totally his fault that Data got killed and Mr. Spock got thrown back into the past of an alternate timeline! -- What do you mean, that was someone else?
I had to shake my head when I first read this Romulus storyline. Seems like the writer was one of those people who thought that wolves and wolverines were related and came up with the idea of lupines, even though none of the characters involved had and distinctly wolf like characteristics and two had obvious feline characteristics.
No 1️⃣ I remember still though due to Marvel shows like; "Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes" and "Ultimate Spider-Man" as a member of the Frightful Four. And of course, I can't forget about when he made appearances in the animated Marvel parody show; "The Super Hero Squad Show"
I don't know about Marvel doesn't want us to remember Romulus, given he was used in the X Lives and X Deaths of Wolverine not that long ago. I do like the idea of the character, but I think he needs to be flushed out more. Like maybe he doesn't just want to see who is the best between Daken and Wolverine to take over is criminal empire. But for him to take over their stronger body, and that's one of the reasons why he always has a telepath with him. A full explanation as to his plans to use a Vibranium and Adamantium mix to replace what was done to Wolverine. Which he gave up on the second Wolverine learned of him and started hunting him down. An explanation as to was Romulus was obsessed with Wolverine's parents and Wolverine himself. Also I wanna see Cyber get some payback against Romulus for what he did to him. But it is funny that Romulus used Cyber as a prototype for the Adamantium bonding and then threw him away. Specially since Cyber has proven to be superior to Wolverine both physically and mentally.
If Doctor Fu Manchu is So Embarrassing how is it a Certain 1980's movie is in existence? IMHO Certain Previously Super Offensive Villain's and Hero's Should (In a much less offensive form) be reintroduced into the MCU and the DCEU ASAP.

Personally, I loved Romulus. Tbh, that whole wolverine origins run was part of what got me into collecting comics again.
