i just bought one.! o love the white but, i live in Edmonton Canada and winters are nasty. so i had to go for the black one. it was a little price after taxes and all the extra options, extended 7 years guaranty, etc.. i don't regret it. it is very fun to dive :)
It's true, in terms of price, this is similar to a crosstour and venza, it does push it over board when you load one up with all the tech but its available with features that you cannot get on the competition which is why its more expensive
It sure does have HID headlights. If you research them, you can spot HIDs simply by looking at their housing 99% of the time. They typically look like little glass balls or eyes in the headlight area. The edge (SEL and up) have LED fog lights too, which make it look fricken awesome.
i actually rented the limited trim of this car the other day. awesome car, bigger than i thought though. but still a cool looking car. definitely a head turner, really.
I have the 2013 edge sport in blue which is beautiful. but what he didnt talk about is when you put it in sport mode the engine will run to redline which you have to be careful, ive noticed doing about 110km in 3rd gear ringing it out aha but great car, just wish the exhaust sounded better, thinking of putting a magnaflow on it later on (y)

this one is 44 000 + tax. its changes depending where you live.. also you can get more options too protect paint, body, interior etc. its important if you live close to the ocean..

Looks very nice under the tree and the shadows on it. Would like to see it in a very silvery silver and some more black accents. Maybe on the bottom. Glass roof front and back is a must. Might put wilder rims on with deep dish. And lower the whole thing with wider tires. Slap a turbo on that V6 with a little tuning. And while I'm at it, I'd add a stainless steel Borla exhaust system with an easy flow catalitic converter Make it a nice spacey street machine. Does it comes with 5 speed manual too?
If i may ask, why would you go for black just because of the winters here, wouldnt that make it worse for seeing the salt and everything??? White would show less.
great review but I think he made a mistake... the spare tire is not underneath the car you can see it when he show the exhaust, he probably won't noticed the it was cover for the tire...some one can confirm this ?

Not necessarily. We looked at a Lexus ES350 and visited Lexus and saw nothing but stuck up sales/service staff blurting fancy words and sounding so robotic. The atmosphere just feels arrogant the second you walk in and usually the sales staff consists of a bunch of the hipster doofus type. Fake smiles and in all honesty the staff doesn't know much, I knew more about the car than they did.

Funny my 2010 Edge FWD is faster than any Edge Sport due to the weight even though it has more torque and horse power.. It's very disappointing for those thinking it's the top performing Edge model.

I've never been a fan of the edge but the first time I saw a sport on the road I was amazed! It looks fantastic!

It feels a bit burdened but it moves it out much better than the 2.0T, the Edge could stand to lose a bit of weight IMO

Probably because the Explorer is more family-orientated than the Edge

Pretty sure nobody buys them for speed or to race them. It's a V6 in a crossover it's not meant to be fast.
