This was Kevin and Avi's arrangement in honor of Kevin's parents.
His father is a Nigerian Christian and his mother a Christian from Granada.
So they added both African and Carribean flavors into the arrangement.
It gives a great twist to the song.
Yes! Kevin's dad is Nigerian and his mom is from Grenada! Hence the arrangement!
This is almost enough to get me back to church for the first time in 50 years. Almost.
I remember being shocked the first time I heard this and now it's an absolute favorite. It's so upbeat and cheery and happy. I just love it!
