- Here's a video of setup and review of the New X-Arcade TankStick PS4 Adapter. Plug and Play Ready, works Great with system so far, haven't had any glitches or input lag. I really havent had any issues with the X-arcade adapters as a whole, the Xboxone, PS2, Dreamcast, Playstation adapters all have been Great from my experience.

Well you can just connect the X-Arcade Controller directly to your PC it sees it as a Keyboard
Yeah but if you connect it with the xbox adapter some games recognize it easier

why vents are on the side and the back he should be ok
I just got my adapters and have tried syncing them but nothing works. I unplugged and replugged everything a ton of times and pressed the select & start combination as well but nothing... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The Arcade Gamer PS4. I am using a xarcade dual and am using the serial cable to ps2 xarcade adapter to ps2 to PS4 adapter. Same setup like you. Have you ever had to update the firmware on the ps2 to PS4 adapter? Pressing select and start does nothing for me. If I connect a original ps2 controller the adapter works fine. I’m out of ideas. Thank you for your assistance.
@@Mysteriozone Yes you do have to upgrade the software for the PS4 adapter there is a link on the xarcade website that allows you to download the latest drivers and you can use a pc or laptop and connect the adapter to a usb port when its ready

Where do you get the Ps4 adapter I can't find it anywhere is not on their website
Can you change the button config so the 2 side buttons on tankstick are L1 & R1? Would like to use the buttons as flippers in pinball.
All the buttons are programmable when using it on PC, but they are set buttons for console use. You'll have to see if the in game control option let's you change it
Can you give me the name of the Adapter, I had a tankstick and I want to used it on ps3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox one, Nintendo switch give the name of the Adapter that support all this 5 consoles, also is there's an adapter for x tankstick that support PS1, PS2, Original Xbox, Wii, game cube, Dreamcast, Sega saturn

Hey bro, is the adapter still working for you? I updated yesterday the firmware in the adapters but it stopped working, it doesn't recognize the button presses.
Yeah it still works for me, you may wanna reach out to Xgaming this, they are pretty good about their warranties
@@zdog720 Thanks for the reply! Would you be able to check on what firmware your ps4 is in please? Also, do you remember when was the last time you updated your brook adapters? I was able to play perfectly until I updated the adapters to the latest fw.

hi I just ordered the xbox one version of these cables it comes with the ps2 bits do I need anything else to make sure it works with my x arcade stick and will I be able to use it from the get go ?
jill stanhope Yes it should work out the box. As a matter of fact it should automatically link your player 1 and player 2 when you turn your Xbox on actually

jill stanhope no problemo, and yeah the XboxOne seem to be alot easier to sync out the box vs the PS4 adapter, so you will be good
The Arcade Gamer hi I got my Xbox cables but after spending 3 hours trying to get it to link up as only the 2nd player would link up I realised I had a dodgy cable and they are sending out new cables . I saw you had trouble linking yours and just presumed it was me that was doing it wrong but they must of got damaged in the post . that's ok I guess only 3 hours of my life wasted lol

Jason Parrott Oh yeah man, I can't vouche for XARCADE, they make great controllers and adapters
I don't have a cabinet - but 20 years of bashing those buttons and I only had to make one minor repair recently (a contact was loose - just crimped it with a pair of pliers - job done).
The cool thing is that, even your buttons happen to suck (I doubt it), they are extremely easy and cheap to replace.

Do you think this will work with recroom master xtension arcade stick? I own the emulation edition and I want to hook it to PS4
imOJ I believe the emulator edition is designed for a PC, not sure if it's equipped with the board to work for the new console's. U may have to call or chat with recroom masters to see if they can send u an adapter for it. As far as I know the X-Arcade Tankstick and the Xtention Fightsticks are designed a little differently and have different Outports and Boards. The Tankstick used a Serial Cable for it's connection vs USB for the Xtention

All of the buttons are fully configurable - you can make them do whatever you want.
Like - when I play pinball, there's the usual buttons on the side .. but I also set up two of the top buttons to be the "tilt" buttons, and the right joystick to be forward tilt and, when pulled back, the plunger.
For Q-Bert - which is really confusing because the character always jumps on the diagonal - I changed the default settings to suit the way I felt like playing.
You can change absolutely everything - but it comes with default layouts for the likes of X-Box.
Hey man. I'm struggling with this. I just want to play my tankstick with my PS4 Pro. I got my ps4 adapter in the mail today. I ordered the one that included the ps2 cables. I can't seem to get the player one to ever work. Player 2 seems to just work automatically, plug and play, once I log it in. When I stick the adapter in for Player 1, it recognizes that I've done that and attempts to let me log in, but I can't get the tankstick to activate player one and log in. I saw that you had some issues, but eventually got it. I just don't know how you eventually got it.
James Catchot You may have to so the firmware update for the PS4 adapter itself, connect it to a PC. But it still should work out the box tho, your hitting the PS button and it should let u login in with a user
Didn't consider a firmware update. That may be. Mine is a few years old.
Oh just realized you said the ps4 adapter was thinking you said the tankstick.
Well for anyone who may come along and have issues like this, I ended up having to submit a support ticket from their website. We did a couple of emails back and forth, where they made sure I had tried everything. They've now determined that my PS2 adapter is probably bad and are going to send me another one.
Got my replacement PS2 adapter and everything is working fine now. I don't even have to initiate any buttons on the tankstick to get the sides to work. If the ps4 is up and running already, then I just have to press the adapter button and log a side in and then press the other adapter button and log the other side in and they are both up and running.
Hello, does this set up only works with two players??, I have a dual x arcade stick, but only 1 adapter, and I cant get it to work, tried the side and start button and still nothing, any thoughts??, By the way, my x arcade doesnt have the ball
alex hernandez Well it is a 2player adapter, so rather you have the Xarcade Tankstick or the Xarcade without the trackball it should still work. What system are you trying to play it on?
The Arcade Gamer , on a ps4 also, I dont know whats wrong, have the 5 in 1 adapter, which has the ps2 plugs, do you think maybe getting the ps2 adapter like yours would help?, The ps4 adapter button works fine, and I just checked the xarcade with my nvidia tablet and ot worked too, tought maybe the x arcade was messed up cause been sitting up for awhile
