To a song that has cuphead and mug man duet
For me, what makes this song better is the fact that Sans allows Papyrus to lead for most of the song. He only actually adds background(ish) melodies or follows off of Papyrus for the most part while Papyrus actually contends with BF head on. And the one time Sans does start leading, he uses it to play off a joke. And once he finishes, he smiles to Papyrus like “Okay, I’m done now, go ahead.” It really shined out to me when I listened. Nice work!
He also puts papyrus' arrows at the middle to let him be the centre of attention

The internet has gotten Undertale wrong for so long. They make sans an edgy god and they make papyrus a pushover nice guy, but the characters are so much deeper and as an Undertale fan it makes me mad. This mod, however, got it so spot on and it makes me so happy. The interactions between brothers was just a joy to watch!

Seriously. I don't care if this is from FNF. I don't care if people still think FNF is for kids. I don't care if people still think FNF is ruining every fandom it touches.
THIS SONG. It describes the Skeleton Bros WAY better than any Undertale song, AU or not, ever could. Seriously, when people talk about Saster being a class/top Undertale musician overall great composer, that's just an *understatement.* XD
I feel like people too often depict Papyrus a timid little kid, who's although naïve is very kind to everyone. Yes, there's a little of that in papyrus, but he's also confident! Boastful! Energetic, and laser focused on capturing a human and proving himself as a powerful royal guard! And he's pretty tough, it's not that he's too weak to kill a human, he just can't bring himself to do it.
He's wacky and full of puzzle making personality, he's like a cartoon villain.
I say villain because by definition, although he attempts to do morally incorrect things (capturing a human)and he doesn't mean to cause harm, he is an antagonist, a threat against frisk the protagonist.
This song captures the vibe I get from papyrus, and I think depicts him better than most of the fandom

It really is the most true-to-characterization version of Sans and Papyrus that I can think of
Papyrus is a spotlight-stealing, confident, energetic cartoon villain who ultimately doesn't mean any harm and just wants to have friends and attention; Sans is his lazy, laid-back brother who wants to support Papyrus but also isn't above messing around with him a little, because that's what brothers do.
This is Papyrus's song for sure, with the Bonetrousle motif and the most energized "spotlight" parts of it being sung by him, with Sans providing backup and harmony for most of it; But then you get moments like Sans falling asleep and Papyrus having to wake him up (which Sans shrugs off), or Sans interrupting with a goofy xylophone solo that annoys Papyrus, but he still gives Papy the stage back after ruffling his feathers a little.
Even the main week is, I feel, a better characterization of Sans than most fan works. Whoopee starts with the "most powerful attack" fakeout that makes you think that it's going to be another "super badass Sans" thing, but very quickly reveals that it was all a ruse and transitions into something much more laid-back that riffs on "sans." (the song, obv). It really emphasizes that the creators realize that "Sans, the ultra badass" isn't really his real persona, it's just what he does when all bets are off -- if he has literally any other option he's gonna just chill out and have some fun.
It's a refreshing take, honestly.

Not gonna lie this is the most endearing that Undertale's been in a very long time, not just for this song, the full week too, this mod is actually what made me go back and watch some old Undertale playthroughs.
And the mod as a whole is just astounding, I don't see how any other mod could hope to top this, I love all of you peeps who worked on this, you're all incredible.

I’ll be honest, after going through this mod, I constantly had to change which one was my favorite just because of the absolute quality from the composers but I knew the second I saw Saster on this one that it would be my favorite. Such a fun and lighthearted song to go through after the absolute hell that was Last Reel and Nightmare Run

It just emphasizes the skeleton brothers energy! It’s so goofy and vibrant, and I feel distracted while playing it because of all the unique interactions and animations, that’s how you know you’ve made something great!
I love how sans in this song isn't treated like some over powered god and instead like a goofy guy with an over confident brother. I love this song so much

the portion where Sans is playing the xylophone on his skull is brilliant. it absolutely reads as something Sans would do.
y'know, my favourite thing about this video is actually the comments talking about the characters. a lot of the comments talk about how this song perfectly represents Sans and Papyrus how they're presented in the game. instead of being an overpowered egdelord, Sans is just a playful goofball who falls asleep a lot. instead of being a sweet pushover, Papyrus is a merciful tryhard who always wants to look his best. and the bond between them is clearly shown to be strong but playful too.
Sans lets Papyrus take the lead most times, and the one time Sans takes the lead, he plays it off as a joke (btw Papyrus's face in that moment, PRICELESS). he also lets Paps take centre stage and fight BF head on, while Sans himself simply sits back and add little harmonizing parts. plus the whole tone of the song reflects Bonetrousle, Papyrus's battle song from the original game, probably bc Paps would be more comfortable singing something he knows well.
as for Papyrus, he wants to be taken seriously, but Sans's hijinks give off playful banter between them (Sans literally uses his head as a xylophone, if that's not funny then comedy is dead). he also feels bad for BF since he's singing solo while Paps has his bro so he adds a little bit more to BF's verse of the song which shows that he still has a kind heart even if they are battling each other.
the ending is still the best part for showing their brotherly bond though since they work together which reminds me that both brothers take care of each other in different ways and depend on each other for different reasons.
oh, and the art style chosen for this video is really cute! :3

I love how perfectly this song encapsulates the banter between Papyrus and Sans. Papyrus puts in effort for most of the song, meanwhile Sans just kinda lays back and even falls asleep at the start. That is, until Sans decides to pull a prank (one of the few things he's known to put effort into) by drumming on his head, and absolutely confounding Papyrus for a bit.
This. This is it. The best FNF song. Nothing will top it for me, I'm almost certain. It goes incredibly hard, while also having a lot of personality, and ACTUALLY PROPERLY CAPTURING SANS AND PAPS' PERSONALITIES/CHEMISTRY (the fact that I feel the need to celebrate that is kinda sad, but, my god, I'm so tired of seeing Sans just being edgy and murder-y for no reason, and especially tired of seeing the Skelebros barely interacting, if at all). Magnificent.

So I just came across this song and I can already tell as someone who has only played undertale’s pacifist run and seen so many content creators play various mods
This song has captured the overall dynamic of the two brothers extremely well. Papyrus is the one who always likes being in the spotlight, and so he takes the lead for a lot of the parts when it’s the skelebro’s turn. Sans doesn’t come out of the forefront as often, and when he does have parts it usually is something that accentuates Papyrus to make him shine more, an continuation/add-on to Papyrus’s melody, or when he solos it’s either something silly or something relatively chill. Sans also sleeps at times two points in the song and Papyrus looks embarrassed or flabbergasted at his antics which was a really nice touch in terms of animation.
I also love the way that the three different voices in this song do not clash with each other and blend with each other.
Amazing song Saster, and if people see this comment, give me other fnf songs I should check out! I wanna listen to other creators, even if it’s more of Saster’s content!

It's abundantly obvious that this is not only one of the best songs in Indie Cross, this is also one of Saster's best songs of all time. Just because of how deep it delves in to these characters and what makes them special, while staying so JAMMIN' the whole time.
THIS is EXACTLY what we need from FNF songs in the future, as well as songs in general.

Without a doubt my favorite song in Indie Cross. It captures the Undertale style so well while still having a bit of FNF flair. Not to mention this is the best representation of Sans and Papyrus I’ve seen in a while.

Bro, that song is really impressive and very good composed, and that end part very dynamic and pierces the soul. You completely transferred the soul of these two bone brothers and brought my memories of the first time I play Undertale outside, nostalgia was pouring out of me... And that end.. Its like, its still sound under a good beat and good compositing of the song, and this transition to a minor seems to say "This is our last meeting, it's time to let us go and move on", (NO KIDDING FURTHER) gave me the truth to shed tears with a little sadness, but also with a smile, looking at them for the last time. Undertale means a lot to me and is very close, and this song really tears me apart with delight and impression. Stunning work. Thank you for this song, thank you all animators who animate them VERY SICK and devs who started working on this project and finished that. 😭😭😭
