I can’t get enough of this game. I get SOOOO sad when I have to go to bed and then to work every morning. This is the type of game that I want to do nothing but sit in front of my tv and series x. I’d seriously rate it a 9.5/10

Yes, amazing game indeed. I just turned 65 and still love these types of games. I also have a Denon 7.2 system and that sounds amazing, they did an awesome job coding the sound also. I believe they worked on this for 5 years. Anyway hello from ne montana.
“Magical,” the exact word I stated when I thought how I would describe Hogwarts Legacy in one word as the game captures every sense of its meaning. I don’t think I’ve ever played a game that has left me more in awe upon every corner I turn. Very often I’ll just sit there with my character just taking in the surrounding environment. It’s ridiculous how much depth and detail went into this. I didn’t know shit about what a Gryffindor or Hufflepuff was before I bought this game, lol. But, the overall great reviews struck my curiosity and I have no regrets whatsoever. Amazing game, absolute masterpiece
I'm not playing it yet because I'm waiting for the switch version but when I tell you. I can't wait to get my hands on this game. I will be putting in soooooo many hours.
Hi Ircha, If you liked flying the 🧹broomstick🧹 got a treat instore for you, you're going to love flying the 🐦hippogriff, 🐦its is so much more majestic and awesome to fly. (Yes the broomstick is the go to means of travel, (barring the fast travel points)) You have not unlocked the best parts of the "Room" yet, the multiple biomes and what you put in them is insane, you're fall in love with that bit I'm sure. This is differently the BEST game released in years. I agree the Character customisation was lacking was hoping to customise ones characters body as well and head customisation were lacking. I'm playing on PC have no loading screens apart from the shaders loading at turn-on/ start. Playing on my 1-2 yr old PC 3070 ti I7-10th gen. getting around 140 FPS. Good review, could not have said it better myself loving it. I'm also not a fan of Harry Potter like you watched the first couple of movies and yea they were ok, but its been the only game I've been playing since its pre-release a few days ago as well.
53 hours for me to 100% the game and I'm on my second playthrough with a different house. Started in slytherin due to my questionnaire before the games release.
Took me 14 hours to get me broom lol, ye this game is great so many secrets at one point i even saw one of those People with an suitcase from fantastic beasts to sell those beast to a dark wizard. That was just an npc interaction but very cool to watch haha.
I've been waiting for this game for AGES and I'm not disappointed. One thing is that my character looks nothing like she should, it's so different from its version in customization panel. And the face expressions looks so bad, I've showed some screenshots to my friends and we all had a good laugh because of them
I'm not a Harry Potter fan per se, but if you just like quality video games then it's an absolute must buy. I'm on ps5 as well and it's impressive. This will go down as one of the generations great games.
Great review. Again for me, since I've never been a fan of Harry Potter, even the movies, it's been a hard sell for me. (If you don't know that expression, it means that I'm not the audience for the product, so it has to be extra good for me to pay attention.) And even though the wand combat doesn't look that entertaining to me, if I don't get Octopath Traveller 2, I'll probably pick Hogwarts Legacy up this weekend.
I had some frame drop issues on PS5, and small load times when leaving one part of Hogwarts and going outside. hopefully they can fix these in an update. There really shouldn't be any load times when just traverse the world.
I wasn't hyped either because I am not a big fan, but decided to get it and it has been a pleasant surprise. I also bought Labyrinth of Galleria, and can confidently recommend it to you.
Which house were you playing? Because I've heard Ravenclaw isn't particularly great, but I don't really know what that means...Do you know if there really is that much difference between the houses?
This game is masterful. Not only does it capture some of the wonder I had when I first experienced the wizarding world, but it's also strong enough to stand on its own two feet without having to rely very much on the Harry Potter era stuff. I just wish there were more choices of wands.....mine isn't quite what I imagined in my head 😅

Thanks, as always, for this review! It actually helped me in an unexpected way. I played the game for about 30 hours, till I got so grumpy I just couldn’t continue. It’s been bugging me since: WHY don’t I like this game?! Now I know. I’ve been a long term Harry Potter fan, since the third book was originally released. I’ve read, re-read, and basically memorized all the books. I’ve devoured the movies. This game, while great, doesn’t feel like a Hogwarts/Wizarding World game to me at all. I’m really glad others are enjoying it, and hope it encourages others to enter the worlds of the books & movies too. But for me, I’m glad to be able to have a handle on why I didn’t like it.
Glad to see another person enjoying this game. I’m so tempted but I’ve been in a gaming funk and im afraid I’d probably let it sit. I’ll wait to get it until I snap out of it and maybe a sale.

I’m a huge Harry Potter fan and I’m addicted to this game but this game is a 9/10, I take away a point simply because of all the bugs I’ve encountered that distracted me and interfered with my experience. I’m sure they’ll release a patch update soon that will change my score to 10/10 but until then it will stay at a 9/10
i am also not a harry potter fan so i was abit worried the story in this game will be linked but thankfully it's not and it's superr fun , also i get motion sick easly from games with similar graphics and surprisingly there is none in this game .
it is such a lovely game, its the most fun I have had in years, so it is such a shame it comes with this huge stone attached to it weighing down what should be a true gaming accomplishment. I am glad my friends are capable of talking through the issue outside the game, with maturity. Trans issues are as vital as oxygen shame not many online are as capable of understanding and respect opinions they dont agree with as the friends I am lucky to have.
63 hours in myself, I've always been addicted to map clearing. So my main story progress is suffering a bit. Super fun times. And yeah, I'd like to see mote games this polished before release. Too many come out a broken mess which destroys any fun that could have been had.
Used to love Harry Potter and JKR and was even okay with her transphobia initially because of her past trauma. Then she went full tory and funded Brexit. Now I just hate every Harry Potter.
When the game launched I was like "ok, I'll get it when it's discounted or when used copies are going to be cheaper". After listening to the drama every day for a week, I gave up on my decision, and bought a deluxe edition yesterday :D
Really happy to hear the game is this good after all the negative press it got for no reason. Just watching the clips of it, it is a beautiful game and I also would like to see this team work on Tolkien, Martin, and Lewis. And how about McCaffrey? The Dragons of Pern!
Wow, great review of Hogwarts Legacy! It's much better than the review on Wired...it's the worst review I've read in a while...don't read the review, let's leave it at that. I probably won't get Hogwarts Legacy mostly because I rarely play open world games, but I can tell that you really like this game, most people really like Hogwarts Legacy and yeah, it doesn't surprise me that this is another very positive review. I hope that everyone who buys Hogwarts Legacy likes the game :D
Sadly, I will admit that I have not watched a video from this channel in a bit. Irachi was my GO TO for all games Switch. This video has definitely peaked my interest for Hogwarts, but I will probably wait until Black Friday 2023. Due to the pending economic collapse; most of us working stiffs will probably only be able to afford one game... better to make it a GREAT ONE.
Elden Ring! I think it will be more challenging, but the online mode gives you another layer that Legacy doesn’t have atm. It really depends on how connected you are to the worlds portrayed after watching the trailers

(Besides JK Rowling polemic, we can’t erase our past and we can’t deny the fact that Harry Potter is part of our lives somehow).

its really bad and one of the most overhyped games of modern times. Its a mile wide and an inch deep. So shallow its criminal they got away with lying to the fans about how good there game was, save your money unless your new to gaming or under 12 years old. If you like it im really happy you had fun. but i must tell the truth.

@Slipp tbh i thought you were baiting me trying to start an argument. so if you did not know, the game is causing a lot of controversy right now and last time i expressed a distaste for it and its themes i was told people care more about a videogame than my right to live, and always will. im not even trans or jewish, but i think the cost of playing it is too high to be justifiable for anyone to play it. i do not care more about a game than others basic rights, and thats a line im not willing to compromise on

I honestly wasn’t sure if it was due to the situation with Rowling or something else (though I thought it more than likely was her), and wanted to know in case I should unsubscribe as well. I just came across the channel recently. people’s rights in reality will always supersede enjoyment in virtual reality, and personally I’ve never been so torn on a purchase. I’m not going to buy the game now, but I have to be transparent and say maybe way down the line if it’s on a deep sale I may check it out. however, this is not meant as a bait. I think the developers are wholly against her views with the inclusion of Trans-NPCs and options in the character creation menu. but I understand any type of support is still ultimately going to Rowling’s pocket in some way and ultimately I’m likely to steer clear.
I can not wait for this to come out on the switch. I can not wait. I’m a HUGE Harry Potter fan…I love that you love this game! I hope there are Easter eggs for the fans!

There are only a few minor differences in the houses. One of them has an exclusive quest.

its really bad and one of the most overhyped games of modern times. Its a mile wide and an inch deep. So shallow its criminal they got away with lying to the fans about how good there game was, save your money unless your new to gaming or under 12 years old. If you like it im really happy you had fun. but i must tell the truth.
I've loved watching your videos for years but I'm really hoping you're just somehow unaware of how hurtful this game, franchise, and creator is to the trans community :(

Yes, obviously to anyone without fried pork for thinkmeat, it's going to be almost entirely white and you may never meet a non-European in your life. Within Hogwarts, that can change due to Triwizard Tournaments having guests come from other schools around the world. Which I remind you exist, not everyone is entitled to attend Hogwarts and they have their own establishments.

@Slipp tbh i thought you were baiting me trying to start an argument. so if you did not know, the game is causing a lot of controversy right now and last time i expressed a distaste for it and its themes i was told people care more about a videogame than my right to live, and always will. im not even trans or jewish, but i think the cost of playing it is too high to be justifiable for anyone to play it. i do not care more about a game than others basic rights, and thats a line im not willing to compromise on

people’s rights in reality will always supersede enjoyment in virtual reality, and personally I’ve never been so torn on a purchase. I’m not going to buy the game now, but I have to be transparent and say maybe way down the line if it’s on a deep sale I may check it out. however, this is not meant as a bait. I think the developers are wholly against her views with the inclusion of Trans-NPCs and options in the character creation menu.
but I understand any type of support is still ultimately going to Rowling’s pocket in some way and ultimately I’m likely to steer clear.
