How did I miss this episode?...
I think Jurassic Park is one of those films that defined a whole generation of VFX guys. I remember the T-rex scene in JP... I literally did not breathe through the whole scene... but more for the "how did they do that?" more than just "that's cool". I have a few memorable moments like that... Star Wars (Ep4) , Jaws, Close Encounters, Raiders...
I would love to be in VFX one day (I'm getting old though, so better get my finger out!!). Thank you for this... very enjoyable insight from the ground level up.

Love hearing that, Gerald! I can never quite tell if I'm blabbing into the ether or actually "landing" with people, and it's huge honor to hear when it's the latter. Your stuff is *gorgeous* - congrats on all that you've accomplished! Now, time for *you* to go inspire some young folk! :)

I really liked listening to the story from Kevin. It's a good inspiration and I got some good tips/advice on managing work and family. I also liked hearing a familiar name in there. I got to work with Martin on a film in 2018. He was tough but good as I worked on shots for him.

Martin is tough, indeed, but such a wonderful character. Learned a ton from him, and not just about editing! :)
