I remember playing this when it released.. It was such awesomely immersive game. This is one of those games, if you are going to play it you should clear your schedule for some days at least to fully experience this game. And I do really hope that we get more metro games.
I hope there will be another Metro some day. One of the few shooters with realistic characters you can emphasize with & care about. AAand so much stuff to explore which actually made fun. No boring open but empty world.

A lot didn’t like the story in the second, but the graphics, environment and gameplay are as good as it gets. Remake for the first last of us is supposed to come out at Christmas, but not been confirmed yet.

I’m an older gamer, from the early 80’s, and started out playing on primitive machines like the Atari 2600 and Intellivision. And despite seeing the gradual improvement in graphics over the decades, it still amazes me how far games have come in realism and complexity.

Imagine if I had a 4K tv in my bedroom! I still managed to have everybody alive on my initial game on my ancient 720p tv, with no knowledge of such ending either!
you know, the bigger problem with Metro Exodus console version is the lack of tesselation, a lot of models become low poly on PS5 version, biggest example it's the rope at 0:16, it looks like a stick more than a rope, its sad since PS5 it's powerful enough to run tesselation, for now PC version it's miles away better.

Thing is, this game is now 3 Years old and they changed the lightning mechanics a bit with raytraycing but these textures are still the same after 3 Years. Afterall this game is also 80 GB big and if you want higher quality textures you would need 150+ GB. Plus this is Gameplay from a PS5 so its not as high quality as on PC
I will never forget my experience with metro exodus, ima have to go back and play the 1st two games, but mane metro exodus some else 🔥🔥 I thoroughly explored with 30+ hours
I dont know why, I've tried this game 3 times and never got back to it after the first hour and a half, every time I closed the game on the same point and just never got back to it. I am going to give it another shot and get past that point, as every video I've seen and comments are just praising this game.
This so old man how you just realized the remastered version of this? I really believe it's by far the most impressive render in every way. Sound is next level and 360 than a mf. The haptic feed back and adaptive triggers give you a level of immersion you can't experience on any system. The visual fidelity is unmatched. I always pursued the visual aspect in gaming and seem some impressive displays over the years. This game is by far the best performance I've seen on PS5. Even at just 60 fps.
Im Playing now on ps5 with activated vrr Mode. I think it runs smoother cause of the fps. Im playing this game for the first time and i think now its the best time 4 playthrough. Graphics and fps looks pretty nice on ps5

Там разрешение дропается до 1200р, и это при том что используется темпаральная реконструкция так ещё и vrs в режиме х4 что делает детали ещё более размытыми. Основной пресет солянка из ультра/хай/мед параметров, что там с альфа каналом не ясно, в оригинальной версии на консолях его резали. А рейтрейсинг тут на минимальном качестве "нормал" который, rt отражения по сути выключены. Очень скромные настройки

The HDR is nice but besides that it looks just like “The last of us”. Graphics have certainly reached a peak.

Still don't see the 'quantum leap' graphically speaking on the PS5. Most worlds just seem like being inside a really great 3D 'painting.'
