You can use petro AP to absolutely smash angled dds Petro is known for having incredible ballistics improved pen angles and because It has next to no drag on the shells it also gets short fuse ap to help with not getting as many overpens

2:30 verbage is confusing, understood the intent, but the potatoes may not understand the minutia, AP is (ship to ship variations) about 50% healable, Citadels about 10%, fires and floods are 100% healable damage
Personally it's my new favorite ship, it's so cool to play it to bounce 460mm yamato and pushing battleship. It's very accurate you can citadel on angled cruiser, pen destroyer that angled it's just too cool to play. The really bad point is the HE. Very low damage potential and it's unfair against destroyer but it's a necessary compromise. The citadel of this ship is well protected in close range if your correctly angled, that make him so dangerous.
Got her today, her firing angles are just incredible just hate that rear turret turning opposite to where I'm looking. Differently need a double rudder. Hopefully Moskva for Legendary
@xAgentOfChaos_87 Lock your turrets at your next preferred position while you’re looking around and your guns are reloading buddy… -Same goes for if you need to do a 180, which would mean that you would need your turrets aimed towards the opposite side when you have turned around… …when you start your turn, move your aim to the opposite side where you will need your turrets to be afterwards, then lock them. They will continue to turn towards the point your aim was when you locked them, and you’ll be able to look around as much as you want while you’re turning your ship around without affecting where your turrets are aiming or supposed to be aiming…😉

Saw this today and decided its time to splurge on the Riga to progress towards Petro...And holy moly i am already painting the town red in citadel city...Looking forward trying out the Petro, hopefully before the nerfhammer 😂👍🏻
How do you have your Riga set up? Mine seems to suck ass... it gets exploded from any angle, and I've seen its AP bounce on damn near everything... I've even bounced AP on freaking destroyers... But it'll overpen broadside light cruisers all freaking day :/ I feel I can generate twice the damage in Tallinn. Makes me not looking forward to Petro, specially when it has a 25mm bow at T8...
I go as much accuracy as i can with my F2P roster and aswell with mod choices. Kutnetzov with N.Scott and Von Essen. Good rule of thumb aim waterline on them Cruisers and deckline/guns on them BB. Up close these guns are formidable. With these Riga guns I feel you gotta experiment with shot discipline for the proper angle and shell placement for the pen as not all ships are built the same armor wise. GlHf

You can convert elite xp into green xp and then unlock petro. Maybe he had enough green xp saved to jump it without having to convert elite xp. There’s multiple ways.
Right after Riga in the Russian heavy cruiser line. Go to the ships tab beside the play tab and go to the Russian tech tree, you’ll see their 2 tier 8 DD’s, their two tier 8 cruisers and the tier 8 BB.

It was a paper ship never made it was designed towards the layer years of world war 2
Almost all high tier russian cruisers battleships, and destroyers are paper ships.
It was never made infact alot of russian warships were all paper ships designed during or after ww2
