you should make a video with the everyday use of the i8, go to parking lots, open doors near other cars, go to Mac Donalds, drive it downtown and on mountain roads, it would be a great help

The some hate things(more than 5 lol)
    ①Windows
→glasses is not going down copletely.
    ②A pillar
→a pillar of other(passenger) side is so thick and you must be careful not to scratch, especially in a junctions.
    ③Display
→old-fashioned design and it doesn't let you make it up-dated because a navi doesn't have USB ports.
    ④Button(1to8)
→He doesn't know what to use.
→They are called like pragmatic buttons. You can make them remember some navi mode(up to 8 patterns). As of me, 1 is MY HOME, 2 is DELETE LOOTS and 3 is my favorite music. Whatever you do, all you have to do is just pushing them to do some actions you decided. You don't need remember which is music...?, navi...? Only you touching, the actions is expressed on the screen. So, then you just push it.
⑤Distance of some switches on the door
→Especially, window button and rear door button are too close. If you wanna open the window, you might open the rear door without your intention.
    ⑥Butterfly doors
→So cool but it is annoying for daily usage.
    ⑦Engine sound
→It's artificial sound, so when you stop on the road, it's so quiet.
    ⑧Rear box
→It's too small to get in many luggages. And it's so hot in that, so cold things don't suit to it.
    That's all.
He doesn't totally dislike and hate i8. Of course these are annoying things, but it doesn't be reason that he leaves BMW i8.
    Thank you.
From a future buyer of i8 in Japan🇯🇵

I never liked bmws due to the interior being basic,.. I only want this because of the fact that it’s electric, has a unique frame, and the butterfly doors 😍

You can program the buttons to do whatever you like. Find the function you want to create a short cut too on the idrive, the press one of the button for 5 seconds and that button will perform that task. The blind spot is my number 1 pet hate!

As seehayz and Kenji Loo said they are hot keys (Or program keys) to do functions. I use mine for presets for radio stations but you can preset them for other things. You select the option you want and then hold the button you want (1-8) and that button will do the function you selected.

Buttons 1-8 are customizable shortcuts on idrive!
I set number one to "sport display". Not bothered with the rest

So if you want a everyday car... Buy any everyday car. With exception of windows. None of your 5 (6) issues are any fault of the car or comparably less issues than any orher car.

Love the exterior, but the maintenance ain't it. The used depreciation price says it all

hot buttons get super useful if you're too lazy to navigate all over to find a specific function! tho it looks like its from the stone age, its still a pretty practical piece of tech :D Loving your content

@@23tny92 make video for RELIABILITY of the I8. You have the car for long time. It is cheap or not cheap to maintane the car, it is a reliable car or not. Make video Audi R8 first gen vs BMW I8, design, performance, comfort, WHICH ONE IS THE BETTER, you have the both cars, so you CAN make a HONEST review.
