Please guide sir, what does this top and bottom reinforcement means i n a wall. should we select the max out of the two, or top means one face of the wall and bottom means the other face of the wall. please guide. also in lift wall we see 4 times the flexural reinforcement and also in spandrels we have left and right top and bottom. how we detail these??

Sir, when you assign the columns for the boundary area, is the stiffness analysis of the structure right? because there are 2 elements (column and wall) in the same node?
It is right.
Software automatically take column as boundary element
Engineering World Do you have some strong references to prove it, sir? I tried to assign the boundary with column and manual using section designer and it comes up with different periods and of course the cumulative mass of the structure.
when to use C&T reinforcing and where to use Uniform reinforcing section?? or are you just teaching how to give software commands?
Assalawalaikum sir. In this wall design as uniform reinforcing what reinforcement is ratio . it has to be less than 4% and 6%. if exceed it fails. plz advise me
