When Laura puts the cross on its side to make an "X". That gets me every time. To answer your other question: This and "Days of Future Past" are my favourite X-Flix.
Saw Logan at the cinema on the Friday of the same week which I'd just been dumped by my girlfriend on the Tuesday (which also meant I never got to see her kids again) so the death scene at the end, with Laura crying and calling him Daddy, just destroyed me. I had a panic attack at the end, which I managed to keep under control until I was out of the theatre then I just broke. Thankfully I was with my flatmate who knew my circumstances so he was able to bring me back down to earth.
In the Wolverine the lady said that Logan was going to die with his heart in his hands. That came true when Lura was holding his hand at the end. That shit got me good. This is one of my all time favorite films because I grew up loving wolverine and watching x men. Glad he finally got to rest after almost 200 years of bad shit happening to him.
@@Seraphilms There is continuity and both those films have the same director so why would you just brush it off? Yeah, he did die in that scene in The Wolverine too, but that doesn't mean we can't make a link between Yukio's vision and his death here.

Best "X-men" film for sure. Edit: Don't apologize for crying at this masterpiece. If you DIDN'T cry, we'd all be worried. =P
One thing that so many people miss in this film (or at least it looks like it) is that Xavier killed the X-Men. And remember it right before he died. This movie is so dark and depressing, and definitely one of the best comic movies ever.
No matter how big scale the MCU gets, they can never replicate the rawness and emotion of some of the X-Men films. I'm sure gonna miss this type of rendition on Marvel adaptions.
@@BornInsane0 Its because its harder to relate to world ending stakes, a common civilian will almost never need to feel the weight of that kind of responsibility. That's why the best large scale stories always come back to the smaller stakes and what the characters personally have to lose.
I disagree. Imo Peter losing Aunt May in No Way Home then the shot of him watching the news basically shit on him for no reason and blame him for her death has the same emotion as Logan does, same with Tony Starks death. Also I don't think any of the X-Men or Wolverine movies are good other than Logan. There's some bright spots in each film but none of them make me feel anything other than Logan.
@@Starsdealer No it isn't. I'd argue Tony's death had people in their feels more than Logan's did. The way I SOBBED at this movie the first time I saw it. It’s absolutely incredible. One of the best superhero movies ever made. Hugh was amazing and so was Daphne Keen, the girl that played Laura. Daphne is one of my favorite young actresses. She was incredible in this and she’s gotten even better since this movie. I highly recommend checking out her other work, especially the show His Dark Materials, which she stars in.
You definitely felt the pain of the wolverine dying but waiting years and watching Hugh Jackman portray Logan for years to finally get an R rating meant everything
This is the best X Men film & imo one of the greastest "superhero" films ever, easily up there with stuff like Dark Knight. It's 10/10. I cried many times during the movie, especially at the deaths of major characters. Tbh it works well as a stand alone film, as long as you know/can pick up on who these characters are. If you know their backstory, that just makes it even better, but you don't have to know every detail of their history to feel the emotions.
Me too, Seb! Me too 💔🥺. I wasn't ready at all to see that. I just thought it would be a last movie with Hugh, a goodbye from the actor, not that. I also cried when Hugh came to Brazil to promote Logan and finally met his brazilian voice (that told him he made his career as his voice, that he raised his kids with the money he got from that) and Hugh got emotional. The saddest thing is that not only this era of Wolverine is over, but also the man that voiced Hugh here died this year. Wolverine will never be the same. What's great is that we grew up with the best Wolverine that we could ever have. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
James Mangold directed this after also directing The Wolverine, and the vibes between both movies is so different. You really get a sense from this movie that he got to let loose, unhindered by the need to adhere to a comic book continuity or a studio's desire to play it safe for the sake of setting up for a sequel. It also has strong Western vibes. Mangold directed the very good remake of 3:10 To Yuma as well, so the Western vibe really plays to his strengths.
It actually makes a lot of sense for there to be comics. Superheroes are going to still have in-universe merch and comics about them. If you get round to Ms. Marvel you will see this! Iron Man reading a Cap comic would actually make a lot of sense, as the US produced Cap comics in WW2 in the MCU in a very similar to how they did in our world. And since Howard worked with Cap I'm sure there would be some old comics lying around!
Beautiful reaction man! I saw this in the theaters with my friend and it broke me we both teared at the end and I remember getting back home and not even knowing what to watch I just tried to find funny videos on TH-cam to cheer me up lmao
“So this is how it feels” that line makes me sob every time. Definitely top 3 stand alone marvel movies that I’ve seen! I was in awe when I watched it for the first time! Also, pls don’t apologize for crying! I love seeing your true emotions come through! Much more fun to watch when we know you’re being your authentic self! 💕
I've said this on another video. But when you watch Dark Phoenix don't expect it feel like a superhero movie. It tries to be a psychodrama about Jean Grey slowly descending into madness. It is best to go in with that expectations.
Does it get better if i see it that way and was the film able portray the psychodrama feel that they were going for? This is a genuine question btw since I havent seen the movie but planning to watch since it’s the last of the X-men films that I havent seen. And if in seeing it in that perspective would make it more palatable, then that’s totally okay with me since I like it when superhero films do this kind of thing where they implement comic book characters into a subgenre/theme of movies. Like Logan- a superhero character placed in a Western style movie, or with latest Batman movie where its like a detective-psychological thriller type movie that gave it a different feel from the other Batman adaptations
@@shinryouzen I would say that it is definitely a better experience if you walk in expecting that. But the movie is pretty rushed and the villains are generic.
“So this is what it feels like…” a man who lived 197 years, but only experienced the feeling of being complete for about 3 seconds before dying. This is such a good film and man that line puts a pit in my gut.

I can't help but cry during this movie no matter how many times I've watched it. I grew up with the X men series, not only is this one of the best movies but it felt like a bit of redemption after The Wolverine. It's just such an emotional ride his vulnerability after burying Xavier, watching him slowly accept then embrace the role of Laura's father in his final moments ...ow my heart

12:01 In the comics she was the mother because she put Logan's 🧬 in her 🥚. Then they had Laura kill her by lasing a sent on her that triggered Laura's kill stage.

This and the Deadpool movies are the only X-Men movies after Days of Future Past that are worth damn. This is a beautiful swan song for Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. While I would have loved it to see the character in the MCU, I’m more than content leaving this as his final appearance. Laura on the other hand I’d be happy to see make the jump to the MCU to continue her Dad’s legacy
Isn't Logan set in an alternated timeline though? ii know the director said it takes place approximately five years after the conclusion of X-Men: Days of Future Past while Jackman said that the film took place in a "slightly different universe". I know Logan has a separate Earth classification number on the Marvel Datebase to the new X-Men timeline so yeah very strange. I guess it doesn't matter much anyways the film is amazing stand alone with zero insight on the past films.
@@Sand420 Yeah so the new timeline the one created after Days of Future Past where Logan wakes up in the Xavier school is Earth-TRN414 this also being the setting of the Deadpool films along with the New Mutants show nobody watched. The original timeline pre Days of Future Past was Earth-10005 this being the setting of all the original films along with First Class. Logan though for some unknown reason is set on Earth-17315 maybe a universe where they wore the iconic X-Men costumes or at least a design close to them explaining the comic book. But yeah to me this is set after Days of Future Past where in the original movies the X-Men wore comic inspired outfits insight of the leather following off from what we saw in the newer X-Men movies and Deadpool.
Hey seb you shouldn't feel bad for crying for a film. NGL I feel like it makes your reaction 10 times better. And it just shows what a job well done they did with this film. I my self cried alot more then I like to admit. Appreciate your content seb! 🙏 keep it up!I love it
You said it- triggering an emotional reaction in the audience DEFINITELY tells you they did a great job with the film. And that is exactly why, after I saw one particular movie (which was only the second move in the past 20+ YEARS, at that time at least, that I could remember actually crying to)... that is what made me curious enough about OTHERS' reactions to "discover" the entire genre of TH-cam movie reactions in the FIRST place. I really did appreciate seeing how so many others reacted the same way I did.
1. Prior to this, Charles had a seizure and killed the X-Men 2. The Wolverine: "I saw you die. You were holding your heart in your hand". She wasn't wrong, and this was far more poetic than I could have thought.
yesss finallyyyy. this is ultimately my favorite marvel movie from this side of the mcu. i just love it and you having a reaction up now made my night amazing.
I named my dog “Logan” after a character from Gilmore Girls, but my brother tells people it’s from this movie, because he’s so obsessed with the whole series
Great reaction! I've always loved Sir Patrick Stewart and always thought he was the person on this planet that was most already suited to the role he played as Charles Xavier. Patrick Stewart is a very kind, compassionate, understanding, wise man. He was born to play that role, and when Professor X died, it hit me harder than anything else.
I totally agree, especially since I actually "discovered" firsthand that crying can release endorphins (it started with watching "Inside Out" in my mid-30's believe it or not!) and have been seeking tearjerker movies ever since. This is The Best X-Men movie goes without saying yeah. 27:28 This scene right here With Laura doing The xmen symbol You KNOW IS Just so meaninful, we'll never forget You Hugh Jackman The legend.
Loved your face when he screamed coming through the woods 😁 and not surprised you got emotional, for me this is the best of all the X-Men films 👏👏👏
I love how there's always a new video to watch
Love your reactions. Keep it up!
Thank you once again for another great reaction Seb
Not even the Academy was able to recognize Hugh Jackman's performance
Never apologize, Seb. I've seen men much older than you cry at the theatre while watching this movie. You are adorable and real. Never change. :)
All good to cry man. I balled my eyes out at this ending. God what a film
“So this is what it feels like…” a man who lived 197 years, but only experienced the feeling of being complete for about 3 seconds before dying. This is such a good film and man that line puts a pit in my gut.
Hey Seb, hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing well! 😊 this is definitely the best X-Men film, I love it so much!!
Funny enough, I like when people cry when watching movies, that's what I'm here for, a reaction. I think most of us, if not all of us don't mind you crying Seb. We love you buddy
Logan dies holding Laura’s hand, metaphorically fulfilling Yukio’s vision that “he would die with his heart in his hand”
- Looper
Badass. There’s a video out there of Hugh Hackman doing the sound design for when he got roided up at the end that’s soo sick also.
Damn a Logan drop on my birthday, solid present thanks Seb.
Started watching your marvel journey in the hospital while in labor. Your journey has helped add some laughter during my struggle with postpartum depression. Luckily I am feeling much better and continue to watch! I even became a patron! Keep it up ☺️
So happy you watched this, one of my favorite movies
Happened to all of us man, don't be ashamed at all about it
12:01 In the comics she was the mother because she put Logan's 🧬 in her 🥚. Then they had Laura kill her by lasing a sent on her that triggered Laura's kill stage.
It's currently 3am on a Sunday morning, love looking forward to ur uploads 🥰
I was blubbering like a fkn baby in the theaters with this movie with my older brother. We were a mess
Your reaction to the ending was heartbreakingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us, Seb.
I didn’t cry, I bawled my eyes out 😭😭😭 I had to just sit in the cinema and let it sink in. Absolutely amazing film. I kinda love to see you cry tbh 😂 it’s just nice to see you actually feel your feelings.
This aggressiveness and gore is how WOLVERINE should have been portrayed from the start of the franchise...
I loved the attempt at a daddy joke at 26:56
"I saw you dying, you are on your back, there's blood everywhere. You're holding your own heart in your hand"
Deadpool had a figure/toy thing of Logan's death on the beginning of Deadpool 2 if you remember
Really enjoy your videos and watching these movies with you
Marvel confirmed that this is not a continuation of the end of Days of Future Past and it’s instead a separate timeline.
he just flips us off everytime he imitates wolverine.and i love it
Seb bud this is the first time I’ve seen you cry on one of these reactions, so good to see you bring human not that you weren’t before but man very emotional film, much love mate
LEAN INTO THE CRYING, I love seeing people be vulnerable and show their true emotions. I have beeeeen binging your videos, love u seb
Yeah, this movie is so fuckin Sick. So Epic.
Hugh Jackman always gonna be One of the Best actors Ever That played an Epic Marvel character.
^That Deadpool line about how confusing and f**ked the timelines are comes to mind
You must be very happy now man
Hey seb you shouldn't feel bad for crying for a film.
After over 200 years, Wolverine has finally earned his rest.
yesss ive been waiting for this one! its my favorite!
That last scene when she call him daddy , it breaks my heart 😢
One of the greatest hero films ever no doubt
This is the real ending to the X Men film franchise and the final chapter in the Wolverine Trilogy.
the second he said i hope thats not because he dies i just knew this film is not gonna be a sad film for him
that ending scene gets me EVERY FREAKING TIME.
1. Prior to this, Charles had a seizure and killed the X-Men
2. The Wolverine: "I saw you die. You were holding your heart in your hand". She wasn't wrong, and this was far more poetic than I could have thought.
This is such a perfect ending to Wolverines story.
I’m taking this as a sign to watch this movie even though it’s rated R
yesss finallyyyy. this is ultimately my favorite marvel movie from this side of the mcu. i just love it and you having a reaction up now made my night amazing.
I was doing really well until I saw the kid with the wolverine toy and then I burst out crying
I named my dog “Logan” after a character from Gilmore Girls, but my brother tells people it’s from this movie, because he’s so obsessed with the whole series
big hug for you seb!
So excited to see your reaction to this masterpiece!
You don't need to apologize for tearing up, we all did. It just means you have a heart.
Don’t apologize for crying ❤️
They didn't actually de-age him for X-24. They aged him with makeup (And probably hair dye) for the real Logan
Don’t worry Seb, we all cried to Logan! Amazing movie
been waiting for this one, love ur channel seb!
You don't have to apologize for crying Seb! Sometimes we just have to let it out and feel for a moment.
I totally agree, especially since I actually "discovered" firsthand that crying can release endorphins (it started with watching "Inside Out" in my mid-30's believe it or not!) and have been seeking tearjerker movies ever since. Such satisfying effects from a movie are frustratingly few and far between for me though. If it's been a while since I've had a good cry and I see a TH-cam movie reaction portraying one, I'll actually get envious, LOL. My #1 favorite reaction of all time is Sebscreen's two-parter Avengers: Endgame.
Such a different tone to all the rest of X-Men movies, took me by surprise the first time I've seen it. And loved every single minute of it! So, so, sooo good!
Love X-23 in the comics. Loved her even more here. So good!
Emotion makes you more relatable and more human. Don’t ever forget…it’s a gift.
