I figured it out! Thank you, gracias! I'm so excited. My keyboard teacher is teaching me Soul Kitchen and once I learn all of it I'm going to post it. Have you learned that one yet?
Aydan Schlaffman I'm very glad to hear so! Sure, it was one of the first Doors' songs I learned to play. Let me know when you upload it. Good vibes! =)
Great! I preferred the third version because of how the softer sound blends fits with the song. I would have loved the Rhodes version more if perhaps it wasn't so muffled away in the background. Might need some brighter sound, more volume, or maybe play some parts higher up... have you experimented with this? At least that's my opinion, I LOVE all three versions regardless. :)
Willem Siers I'm very glad you liked them. I share your point of view, in fact, I did do all of that but still I couldn't quite get the sound I wanted (also I think it's time to service my rhodes a bit n_n') Anyway, thanks a lot for commenting and for the support! Good vibes! =)
Aydan Schlaffman Don't worry, I understood n_n. Right now I'm working on a different kind of project but soon as I get a little time I'll record one more song. I'm very glad to be of inspiration, Aydan. Thanks a bunch for your support! Good vibes again!
So I wanna record me playing a song along with the music. Is there a way I can do that without the keyboard so I can do it myself? Like I wanna do Soul Kitchen. Where can I get the music from but without the keyboard?
Aydan Schlaffman The easiest way would be to use the left side of the original recording. There you have drums, voice and bass. On the other hand you can google for a midi file and mute the keyboards channel (in this case you will rely on how well the file was made and the quality of the midi player you've got) Let me know how it goes. Good vibes!
Awesome video! I liked all three, but I guess if I were to choose, I would say the Gibson version 1! On the Gibson version 2 were you using "Flute 16" - "Flute 8" - "Piccolo 4" only? And I'm guessing you have a Volume Pedal? Love it, man!
***** I'm very glad you like it, Randy. Yeap that's the setting but... tell no one n_n'. Sure I've got one but not the original =/. Thanks a bunch for commenting! Good vibes! =)
+OMAR GUTIERREZ Que tal tio. Saludoors!
Aydan Schlaffman I'm sorry I tried to be as specific as I could. If you tell me what software you use to play the song I might be able to help you better. Good vibes!
Aydan Schlaffman It depends on the midi player you've got. For example I use Cubase. There I can manipulate the midi freely (separate, mute, edit , etc). I don't know any specific website but you can search the web for a midi file. In the case of the original recording, media players usually have a pan option. Using this you can choose between left, center or right channel to be played. Hope this helps. Good vibes!

I love the Doors, you are very good! do you play by ear or do you have scores? I'd like to try playing it with my little band
I'm afraid I've got none, I play by ear. Thanks a bunch for the support :)
@@PFranciscooo Thanks, I'll try by ear too 😆
It will also train your ear. It's a great way to learn. Keep on playing!

👍
I'm going to have to figure out how to do it because I don't get it haha. Thanks for helping though!
Aydan Schlaffman I'm sorry I tried to be as specific as I could. If you tell me what software you use to play the song I might be able to help you better. Good vibes!
Where do you get your backing tracks at?
I made them myself
How do u mute the keyboard on midi?
And what website? And how do u make it go the left?

i wonder what all 3 overdubbed together would sound like..
+Brian Torres I'm not sure but it would sound a bit confusing on the solos =P
+PFranciscooo I suppose you are correct..
