I always start my comments with OMFG…..I am just like you Faye, 95% of my wardrobe is thrifted to!!! I hate shopping for new clothes in the stores, it’s all so same same and I don’t want to look like everybody else!! I just bought a heap of brooches (thanks to you) and about 50 iron on transfers plus diamentes, studs, different cords and bands, feathers, a stack of things actually and I intend to personalise all my clothing!! At 55 in. Few months, it’s time to totally be myself! Your white jacket is my dream piece! I’ve always been different (as a Pisces) from punk and goth one day with harnesses and belt chains, my docs etc to the following day, being my boho side! So I don’t really know who I am as I am so many different people in one, but I love all the different characters I can pull off! BTW I always struggle to find cool belts in op shops…we are going to a party with the words “wear your best and a hat is a must”….its done my head in, I’ve bought the most gorgeous nude pink frilly, layered dress that I never thought I would wear but now I am rocking the silver & white hair, it looks beautiful together!!! I would be lost without op shops, they are my go to ever single time. I love watching your vids, you inspire me! As ive said before, Lee is awesome, my partner is so boring and never changes, probably because he is a Taurus! Much love to you Faye, you’re ace! ❤❤❤
🤣 Well I'm glad to make you OMFG 🤣 Sounds so fantastic what you got going on there with your wardrobe and so proud to hear you've joined the brooch brigade!! The Taurus needs a little boot up the 🍑 tho🤣 Lee is Leo and I'm a libran so we are both up for all the thrifty adventure! haha Thanks for the love, you're ace too xx
You have SUCH a dynamic gift of taking secondhand clothes and turning them into high fashion outfits. I'm a Personal Stylist & Wardrobe Consultant too, and within recent years have shopped primarily at the thrift, in the secondhand sector or within sustainable brands. I've become more aware of quality fabrics, and I am always trying to reinvent new ways to wear my clothing. I would love to see a video on how you make vintage more wearable for today's styling. I think that sometimes it can be a bit difficult to stay modern, and maintain a more high fashion appeal in vintage clothes. Especially if you don't want to keep up with the trends...K eep the videos coming, Faye!
That's so lovely of you to say - thank you!! The onlylimit really is our imagination and how open we are to seeing the beauty in the cast aside....oh i love vintage and especially teaming it with more 'modern' or classic finds like i did in this video with my Van Halen tee meets high waisted tailored black pants...but great idea for a video i will definitely add that to the list xx
I had two weddings coming up - very dressy - and I started thrifting for the dress months ago. I found a Tahiri, sequined, full skirted dress in royal blue. I found a beautiful clutch to match and $43 for both. It’s fun having something unique and knowing you’re being sustainable.
Amazing. I'm so fortunate to have found you! Your ideas are amazing yet "do-able". And now for another cup of coffee and I'm going thru your content. Beautiful Fall day here in the midwest of the U.S. Sending Spring your way!
Good work Faye! I love a safari (photography safari of course) look, and felt like I needed to buy something, but when I wrote down everything I already owned that would work in a Safari vibe, I realised I had heaps already, but I hadn't organised my wardrobe to reflect that. Love your work.xx
I really enjoy watching your videos. great vintage pieces and creative ideas. and that even though I have a completely different personal style. more minimalistic and classic. I think that's the great thing about fashion, we can express ourselves in our own personal way. ❤
Watched this in parts 😊 The painted blazer and bag are nice designs. I prefer the blazer print. I gather you have to hand wash, air out and wipe gently. Gteat 😊🎉 advice and wonderful 💯 tips! Please make more videos 🎥 like this 🎉
Oh I'm so glad - oh yes that was an iconic Vogue Cover - Michaela Bercu wearing a pair of $50 jeans and a $10 000 Christian Lacroix t-shirt - Vogue November 1988 the very first time jeans were worn on a vogue cover, all thanks to Anna Wintour!

I have found some makeup 💄 pieces at the op shops, especially at Good Sammy's and Vinnies when I'm visiting home 🏡🇦🇺 in Perth.
I do, but it's very very rare, so for the most part that's something i have to get new 💄

@@Ally-ug3nq Make up brands?
@@FayeDe_Lanty Yes I mean makeup 💄 brands 🙂
@@Ally-ug3nq can’t say I’ve really looked for a while for that but last one I found was an unused unopened nude by nature bronzer ✨
