This video is an older one so it may not be the best video, so check out my other videos which are much better!

There’s two holes in the fuel shutoff, which you were working on. They run sideways. That’s where the fuel will enter the sediment bowl. There should also be a filter on that shutoff assembly.
Keep working on it!!! And watch some videos about the tractors like that one. The systems are pretty much identical. Good luck!! I am subscribed. Work on the video.

I need to go work on my 1951 B .
You will find the petcocks under the block. Use them to release some of the compression for starting. Use gloves to close them after starting. There’s very hot gasses coming from them. Good luck!!! P.S. No loose clothing near those open flywheels, etc.!!

I bought an old Allis Chalmers that had the cap gasket from a bottle of dry gas dropped into the tank. The tractor would run great till that thing would float over the petcock hole!! The previous owner sold the tractor and bushhog to me for 800 bucks because it would mysteriously shut off all the time!!!😂

Nice old tractor, sadly the vision we saw was mostly the side of the bonnet , maybe have the camera in a different spot next time. Even when you showed us the peacock when u/ got it off, it was you moved it to quickly and we only got half a frame and couldn’t see it. I am sure you will get better in time . Basically the camera was too high to see what you were looking at. Cheers from AUS 🦘

Young man on dad's 1950 G John Deere when his battery cables got dirty the starter wouldn't turn fast enough to start the engine. Dad took the steering wheel off , took a stub shaft out of the tool box. The key from the steering column fit in the key way on the stub shaft , the threads on both shafts were the same. In the center of the flywheel their were 2 notches in the center hole. The cross pin on the stub shaft locked into the notches in the flywheel. You started the engine by hand. The notches in the flywheel were on angle , when the engine started it pushed the stub shaft out. The steering wheel rolled a long way. As a 2 to 3 yr old boy it seemed like a long way!

Thanks for the advice! We will try that if our starter keeps giving us trouble.
