    I had to trouble-shoot a shorted phone Cable once … turned out someone years before fastened the cable to the wall using that screw method with the tie-wraps, and after a few years the “cross” in the screw head (for the Phillips driver) worked its way through the cable jacket and made a minor short. So, if you use this method, fill that in with something to soften the edges! But it DOES make for a clean install!!!

    What was the point of nailing and wiring pieces of wood together? You would get a stronger and cleaner bond if you flattened the two mating surfaces and wood glued them together plus it wouldn't look so crazy.

    Зачёт с креплением провода стяжками, но очень сомнительно соединение досок гвоздями с алюминиевой проволокой, не эстетично, да хер с ней эстетикой, а вот надёжность под большим вопросом, даже если использовать жэлэзную вязальную.

    • @alevtinasurgut
      @alevtinasurgut 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Да зачем крепить провода стяжками, когда есть масса других копеечных приспособлений для крепежа? Тем более, это одноразовый вариант, и при снятии-установке провода понадобятся новые стяжки.

    Great zip tie ideas! But if the white nylon type are ever exposed to the suns UV, (ultra violet rays), they will become brittle and break. Better to use the black UV proof type. Cheers!

    I am kicking myself over not thinking of simply stapling plastic ties into the fence when I put my watering system up instead I used costly mounting brackets.

    • @JohnDlugosz
      @JohnDlugosz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used metal wire wrapped around the pipe and then a screw, rather than any expense for the bracket. It outlasted the pipes, most of the watering stuff, and even the fence.
