I have never forgotten this book. I have been affected by addiction and reading this helped.

I have just reread Rachel’s Holiday. And although I am not in the same situation as Rachel, so many of the advices she received touched me deeply, this time around. I first read it years ago, a way younger me, that didn’t really process things the same way I do now. You write so beautifully. Such real people filling those pages. You are one of my favourite authors ever, it would be a dream come true to meet you in person someday or own an autographed copy of one of your books. I am grateful you exist, and that your books exist. You will probably never read those words, but alas. I wanted to put my gratitude into words.

I feel the same! I actively feel intense gratitude that she exists/and writes these books, whenever I m reading one.

Your novels touch and inspire so many people - they are scripture to me! If that is the effect a female writer can have on not just one other person, but many, many others, that is the furtherest thing from 'forgettable froth'. Shame on those who think otherwise, and completely their loss.

I love love loved it Marian. Keep doing what you do, I’m a Walsh family addict. If people don’t get it it’s just not their style and they can feck off.

The book Rachel's Holiday was not forgettable and decidedly unfrothy. Knife to my heart to hear that! I found Rachel's journey , sad, funny at times, hopeful and enthralling. Rachel grew so much as a person and the chemistry between Luke and her was intense. Really looking forward to the sequel, Again, Rachel?

Just listened to ‘Again, Rachel’, swiftly followed by ‘Rachel’s Holiday’, absolutely magnificent. I’ve listened to sections over and over. Complex, layered, funny, devastating and beautiful. I have Fibromyalgia, spend a lot of time in bed. You’re books are ‘Paul’s holiday’. ❤️
I love Jenny Eclair’s writing too. Thank you ladies. x

I'm a male and I love your work, loved both the Rachel books and Grown Ups... Cannot say enough positive things about the serious undercurrent in these books around addiction but your absolutely effervescent way of depicting characters in their strengths and... Limitations

„Forgettable froth“? Rachel has been one of the most formative fictional characters of my life. It was emotional and a great joy being able to meet her again. Screw these reviewers. It’s their loss, but unfortunately the loss of every female author as well.

This is my favorite book and it really resonates with me, although I'm not addicted. Rachel's insecurity, guilty, self-image, it was like I was being told all my flaws and how I could improve. I'm glad there is a sequel and I can't wait to read it!

I absolutely love this audiobook (I now own a copy of the book). Although a serious subject matter the Irish wit, humour and observations had me laughing out loud from start to finish.

I don't know how anyone could say ANYTHING you wrote was forgettable!!! They clearly didn't actually read what you wrote!! I was so moved by "Rachel's Holiday," and even more so with "Again, Rachel." Your ability to make the reader empathize with the leading lady (in any of your books), teaches us all to be more aware of humanity- and whatever trial or tribulation that individual may be going through OR what we ourself may be going through! I hope you never stop blessing us with your books!

Just wanted to let you know how much i loved your new book! Rachel was always my favourite character. Could you please look into some of the products you mention in your book? Calf skin and angora are not sexy or luxury. They are a horror show for the animals. Thanks.
