I love the paint set that you have been given Marian, I’m a bit jealous! The thing you called an Easel is a Pallet and the paint knife thing is a palette knife 😀 You will be able to make loads of weird colour mixes with all that. I’m looking forward to seeing what you paint next!

I have the disease of more too! One of the things I like to do is read for my daughter. So I read my chapters at her bedtime. Listening to audio books in English have help me a lot in this regard.
You are hilarious :) My grandmother loved Mills and Boon books esp after my grandfather died, they kind of kept her going. She used to slip a book across the table to me and say 'this one's a bit a saucy'!! There is no shame if it lifts your mood, then why not. Looking forward to your book xx

Then I looked you up and watched you on You Tube. I am in love. You are my new addiction and I need one right now as my old life-threatening addictions are looking tempting...My mum is very ill in hospital and as she is also my best friend- it is tough. My friends and I “wrote “ a mills and boon type book when we were 16 and had barely had a first kiss. It was called Love on a Liner. Heavily influenced by Love Boat. Sapphire Blue was the heroine who Iiked what she saw in the mirror and Brett Rivers had broad shoulders tapering down to strong powerful thighs. The End.
What do you mean there was no riding in the old Mills and Boon? Crikey that's a change. I remember Mills and boon in the 1990s (as a teenager). There was riding but mostly non-explicit (including some very funny wording for it!). PS absolutely understand what you mean about the dopamine. I too have been sneery about the Mills and Boon in the past. but as you said, if it doesn't harm others...

There is no sex but everyone stops for coffee on a regular basis. They are the literary equivalent of stuffing your face with crisps but better for the figure.

I used to get the mills and boons out of the library in the 70/80’s, read one after the other but not read one since x
