- Hi everyone! I'm back with my first vlog from my trip to the USA. I was there for an exciting work opportunity which I hope to share with you soon :) I flew to Nashville via Chicago, explored music city, took my first trip to Walmart and went shopping in Bath & Body works to see what's new in for Christmas! OMG Mr. Carrington… you’re adorable with your fascination of Walmart! We have one in almost every town (I’m in Massachusetts) and they multiply the farther south you go. Lol. I guess I just take them for granted.

Nashville is such an amazing city, so much to see and do. As a country music fan, it was an amazing trip for me. Very different from the east coast of Canada.

That was a groundhog. Or “whistle pig” because they whistle. They are also called a woodchuck, depending on location. I think they are adorable the way they wobble.

It seems you had a great time seeing a bit of the American South. I live in Alabama, the state that borders Tennessee to the south. We take things like big cars, WalMart and bright lights for granted but watching through your eyes was so interesting. Excited to hear about your project and to see your WM inspired DIYs. As an American, I can't believe how excited you were about Walmart! I dread going there and only do so if there is no other alternative. An you bought a SlimJim- haha. I did love your enthusiasm on visiting "across the pond". You should do a vlog on packing a suitcase, because I can't believe how much you got in those bags and had room for shopping!!

I used to be a manager for Asda when it was owned by Walmart and had the chance to travel to the US as part of a conference and visit some Walmart stores. As much as I wanted to go I didn't for personal reasons, I was gutted ha! Loved this whole vlog... You should visit Arkansas while you’re this close, especially since you like thrifting & antiques. So many wonderful & beautiful towns in the Natural state!

Great to see Nashville again. We visited from the UK about 10 years ago. It was amazing. Saw a show at the Ryman. The Grand Ole Oprey. Visited the Gaylord Hotel and also went to Memphis and Dollywood in the Smokey Mountains at Pigeon Forge. It was spectacular. Wonderful friendly people. You will have to go back for a holiday sometime.
