Tips, Tricks, and Ideas with Springs in Super Mario Maker or "The mysterious Pirate Star"

- Springs are great Super Mario Maker obstacles, and there are tons of tips tricks and ideas featuring them. These bouncy trampolines can not only be used to create great mario maker puzzle levels or insanely hard kaizo stages, no, they can be used to create traps guarding something of value as well.
Something like a star. Maybe a star who is trapped in a long forgotten pirate cave. Aye. Arrrrr.
In this video we will not only see tons of great tips, tricks and ideas but enter the mysterious koopa skull grotto on an island far away, and mario will try to rescue an old pirate treasure.

You have such unique and interesting ideas! Seriously, you should consider making your own Rom Hack of either Super Mario World or Mario Bros to release your *FULL* creative potential and take off the limitations that Mario Maker has :)

Ceave, for the spring entrance solution, I have an even better idea: place a p-switch above the thwomp but directly below a muncher, so whenever the spring comes up, it pushes the p-switch into the muncher, thus triggering it.

Tips with:
Yoshi, Boots, Costumes, Lava Bubbles, ice blocks...
Also, you can make a video about different styles of levels, like scientific caves with SMB3, old caves and old houses with SMW, or costumes styles and different block combinations that looks amazing. I like to see a video were you show us some ideas of designs!

Ceave, I'm working on a stage which makes use of an improved version of the blooper randomiser you showed the other day. Thanks for the inspiration.
By the way my randomiser uses 3 or 4 'enemies', can be used with pipes and doors, as well as the fact that if you load it in awkwardly, the blooper never escapes.
I've also got a randomiser which uses 2 'enemies' and it can be loaded in without a door.

still sucks that we still (nor think we will ever have) slopes and water blocks. But i`ve been thinking, are there any methods that not only replicate these two things, but other mechanics/enemies that have never been added in mario maker?
Lion Rodriguez, Well there's a thing where you can make slopes with bullet bills and spinys, but water would just be blue platforms
And the slope replica takes up so much enemy space that it really isn't worth it.
There are slopes in Mario maker, it's in what we want in Mario Maker or something like that... it may not be a block but it's in there

Hey Ceave, if you ever make a vid on goomba shoes, I have two great ideas. First, Bowser makes a great platform, as you can only jump on him a certain number of times. Second, Mario in a large shoe in a clown car has a larger hit box than a goomba in a large shoe in a clown car, so this can be used to make a shoe dispenser, or for whatever idea you like!

Springs used instead of spikes for a precision level of swimmimg or jumping with enemies making it a tight squeeze where a miss kills you
