I really don't understand why so many people who didn't like this movie stalk videos about it just to complain. I prefer to watch videos about the stuff I actually _like._
To make others aware of weaksense and how good something could have been. The comment section is no place to hug each other and be of one opinion. As long as we all talk friendly, of course.
Actually a fun moment from the final fight is that Dani combines all 3 fighting styles of the others when she's in that face-off against the rev 9. Sarah's guns, T800's Hammer, and Grace's fighting style In general
This movie works perfectly as the final Terminator installment. Arnold’s last scene is as much of a tear-jerker as the end of T2, with all his character had been through.
Some great details in this finale scene: The Rev-9’s skeleton is moving in this choppy way. The in-story reason is that it’s been damaged so badly, but still isn’t stopping - but this also resembles the stop animation of the T-800 skeleton at the end of the first movie.
Some lame details about this movie and T3: T-1000 from the second movie was the most deadly and unstoppable terminator ever shown in a movie - and for some reason, Rev-9 and T-X are downgraded terminators, built with endoskeleton that makes them easier to destroy
T-X is not a downgrade from the T-1000. The T-X is easily the superior model out of the 2. T-1000 isn't unstoppable either. The T-X plasma cannon incinerates it completely T-X stomps the T-1000. @Olagfigh
@@calisthenicsmachine9725 Both T-X and Rev9 are a downgrades, because both have a endoskeleton under it's liquid form. You can rip their heads off and take out their chips. You can't do the same against T-1000 cause it's chip is liquid as well as the rest of it. Also, do you remember "Hasta la vista, baby" scene from T2? Freezing with nitrogen would stop probably T-800, T-X and Rev-9 because their endoskeletons can't repair itself the same as liquid form could. I'm not sure what do you mean about plasma cannon. We have never seen that weapon used against T-1000, T-X or Rev9 so why do you think it would stop T-1000 but not T-X?
@Olagfigh T-1000 is not superior to the T-X it cannot survive the blast from its plasma cannon. The T-1000 also would have been destroyed by the particle accelerator that we saw in T3. In the beckett comics series for T3, the T-X fought against a T-1002, a more advanced version of the T-1000, and its plasma cannon completely annihilated it the liquid nitrogen did stop the T-1000. The only reason it survived is because the heat countered the effects had there been no heat. The T-1000 would be essentially dead. Good luck getting the chip out of the T-X or taking its head off. Its endoskeleton is incredibly strong and durable. The only advantage that the T-1000 has over the T-X is that it is the better infiltratior.
@@calisthenicsmachine9725 Who cares about some fan fiction comics for T3? That trash movie should not be even cannon and you are talking about some T3 comics. We should stop our discussion right here :D "The only reason it survived is because the heat countered the effects had there been no heat. The T-1000 would be essentially dead." Lol. Why essentially dead? It would just be frozen for a longer time if there would be less heat.
Why the lower jaw of Rev9 was intact with the upper jaw in place in the final endoskeleton scene while they were ripped open by Dani in the turbine shot?
The stunt and action is quite impressive. BUT... This may sound silly, although T2 is one of the greatest action movies of all time, Terminator - in my opinion - never was about action. The main appeal of Terminator for me is the dystopian vision of a world fighting against something that in theory cannot lose. The newer movies all do not hit the right tone and atmosphere 😢
They should have just gone with the Future War after T: Sal. I know the studio were not confident not having Arnie around, but he could still have been as the "Human Man", who was used as the basis what the T:800s human look was based off. Now the franchise is dead such a shame.
@@shaxiphan8281 Thanx yeh its just so ironic because the Hollywood studios who own the property, at end of the day they just want to make multiple sequels to make lots of money. So all they had to do was show some balls and give a solid director a 3-movie deal and make a trilogy out of the events of the Future War. We would have had 3 big budget movies with epic scale, showing hundreds of T-800s mixed in with older generational Terminators, like T-600s, 700s and then in the last third movie show the advanced models like T-1000s and maybe even some T-Xs and the T-3000 here and there. Just make it huge showing hundreds of Resistance soldiers in those jeeps and things having a all out war with the Machines, fans would have loved that. Then in the final movie, it that shows us how John Connor leads the Resistance and They manage to fight there way into the heart of the giant Skynet Mainframe, and end it where JC battles with the T-800, who actually kills him but he manages to blow up the whole of Skynet. And if you wanted to you could even include a scene as a flashback showing John giving orders to Kyle Reese, sending him back to protect him, and show at some point a T-800 going back through the time portal, before Skynet got destroyed, which would bring everything full-circle back to the beginning of the original Terminator film. So when you watch them in order, you would be seeing everything play out in a kind of continuous loop, thats the only trouble with time travel lol.
This was definitely the right direction. Cameron loves giving us what we do not expect based off of what Terminator 1 was (Arnold is Evil)...- T2 - Arnie is Good! - T- Future War - Arnie is Human! Would have been amazing to see Arnold as a worn out older human fighting his younger self (Not Gensys style) but as a human. Then we show human Arnold working hand in hand with John Conner and other characters over the trilogy of films. Do it grounded and simplistic and gritty...with great new and old characters and great development and relationships and it would have worked
It was completely unnecessary. Most of the action scenes didn't even call for that kind of filmmaking. Think if they did more of Dark Knight Rises style airplane scene, used real helicopters, didn't have the stupid hummer in the water, and so much other garbage. The Rev 9 needed CGI, everything else should have stuck as close to real world props as possible but they didn't even try!
Norman Reedus could've play older John Connor, should they decide to make another Terminator in the apocalypse era. This Dani character doesn't really have the same impact as Sarah was. Her acting performance is terrible in the movie.
I really loved T1,T2,T3 AND T4 BUT NOT Genesis.. AFTER THIS FOUR MOVIES I REALLY LIKED DARK FATE.. WELL IN STORYLINE, ACTION, NOSTALGIA, SENTIMENTS& DRAMA WORKED ALSO CHEMISTRY OF ARNOLD, LINDA IS WELL AS ALWAYS.. AND ARNIE IS THE BEST terminator.. ALSO OTHER THAN AUGMENTED, I LIKED REV VERSION.. BUT GRACE ROLE AND DANI ROLE WORKED WELL ALSO FOR plot story.. IT'S OVER ALL TOP AFTER T2 AND T4..MY PERSONAL FAVOURITES.. AND THIRD SURELY FOR TERMINATOR DARKFATE... I HOPE A GOOD SEQUEL WITH NEW FUTURE TECH, NEW VERSION OF STORY TELLING AND THIS CAST RETURN WITH THE support OF THIS NEW ERA CINEMA MAGIC EFFECTS ❤️😍💯
If this film hadn't ruined the ending of T2, I think it would have been better accepted by the fanbase. I think killing John Connor in the first 5 minutes was a poor decision. I also found the dynamic between Grace and Dani weird. It came across as very LGBT, mirroring Sarah and Kyle from the original film, but then the "big" reveal made it so that they had a mother/daughter relationship? It kind of felt that they were trying to go for a lesbian romance, but then probably the test audience pointed it out and the studio bosses forced a re-write. It just felt overall odd. Anyway, overall, I actually enjoyed this movie, I especially enjoyed the interactions between Arnold and Linda, but I can totally understand why so many fans hated it.
How the hell he only makes guns with his hands at the beginning and then for some reason he got lazy and made only knives?. The movie for stupid and dark ( you don't see shit) so fast
One thing that gave me goosebumps was the Dani transformation jump. I mean she dared to compare d*cks with a machine that could have hidden projectile weapons whatever. And she idiotically goes to the scifi fight with a gun and maybe 3 days of battle experience!
This digital arnold is a disappointment, they did not do the work of replicating the body of arnold as in genesis and only replacing the head is a lazy job and it shows that it is a double especially because it is the same that was used in genesis and in the Behind the scenes it looks like his body does not match Arnold's at the time of making the digital substitution, he was only a reference, not a body double.
