Same as soon as it hits spring break we got a pile inches of snow and it’s supposed to be cold for a bit and it was just in the 60s while I had school😢
Yep. Thought the same thing. Easter weekend looks good though, may hit 60! 😆🤞🏻 Also, Tyler, PLEASE come to Michigan for a pond stop! I’d love to learn a few tricks in person!
It’s so nice to see you are in my hometown filming a 100 ponds episode. I’m stoked about that. Would have loved to meet you but glad you are representing MS in this one!
I'm in East Tennessee and the Spawn is on! I only fish ponds and I love your videos and Intel... Went out this morning and slayed them on a thunder cricket and a Zoom craw
Hey Tyler, it was nice talking to ya yesterday at the expo. I forgot to mention to you, if you’re still around there is a pond at RSU in Claremore that is on their nature preserve that’s fun to fish. No giants but is a very healthy pond. Pads, grass, wood, and a dock. I go fish it at least twice a week.
Give em time. They're picking it up and swimming. Give em time to get that second bite and then set the hook. Bigs or smalls. Ask ole Alton bout it. It's that time of year. They're weird about how they bite on calm days. Windy days they'll smack slack in the line but calm days watch the line move then smack em.
Can someone help me find find the video you were talking about with your “pond tips” relating to you talking about depth and what you routinely do when fishing a new pond.
Only glass rods are KVD’s cranking rods (I’m with Lew’s). I love the graphite Custom Speed Stick cranking rods. I use the 6’9”MH “squarebill rod” for a lot of shallow to medium cranks
I'm a strike king/rather outdoors guy thru and thru what makes the mach craw differ from a punch bug/rage menace or even a z craw plastic? Is the subtleness really that much of a difference? I've got a room full of plastics and my addiction is overcoming me. 😂😂😂
Tackle Warehouse asked us to make the Mach craw a mixture between a speed craw, and a Scounbug. Give it a try for yourself! And use that link in the video description if you can
I was wondering if you could give me specific frog rod / reel advice. Ive looked at all your frog videos and your links to your gear gives me a page where you have to select the length and actions, but I dont know which to choose and it doesnt give a base option. Im debating between a 7"2 heavy or a 7"2 medium heavy. Because I dont think theres enough super thick nasty vegetation anywhere I fish. But, is it still advised to just go heavy? Or should i get a medium heavy for more versatility in the rod
@@TylersReelFishing Columbus, Waverly hall, Lumpkin, and everywhere else has huge fish you wouldn't expect. I can catch double-digit bass in ponds less than half an acre.
So Tyler ya know that you never do "dam" videos or river fishing. Just wondering do ya ever and can you post how you approach and with what?? Thanks. And love the info. God bless
Hey Tyler I hate that you don’t tell where you are going to fish your next pond I’m Joe big fan I recently sent you a message thanking you for helping me get my first limit in a tournament I stay in Jackson,Ms and I could have taking you to a super sick natural pond that regenerates after every heavy rain I’m mean true GIANTS so if you’re ever back in Mississippi hit me up I know you could get some really good content with pond
"The big fish are over there in that small pond..." Alright, I'm just going to fish this stretch over here by the Dam instead. Hey guys comment down below where you think the giants are at! 😅 I dunno, probably where Mike said he was just catching them? 😂
@taylormarcel1561 I'm only messing with you guys. It was funny how Tyler didn't try a different presentation over there after getting some guidance from one of the locals, though. 😄
@@TylersReelFishing I love your videos just a lot of TH-camrs show how easy it is but always are on private ponds. I'm very limited where I can fish and my ponds are hit hard. I have learned a lot from you your my favorite next to Roland Martin but you guys are very different fishing people.
The bank content is much needed….enjoyed this series so much!!!
So glad!
taylor’s perspective was cool
He will appear more!
I hope you continue this series even after 100 ponds!
I will!
Set the hook and sent that fish to the next county 😂😂😂
Haha I know

You are the reason I go out fishing ❤
I wish there was good fishing weather in Michigan 😢
😂 don’t you have like half a foot of snow today?!
Same here brother. Soon as the weather gets to 40 im on the bank.

Super cool! If you like the speed craw, you will definitely like our new Mach craw! Get one to the link in my video description and try it out!
Tyler you always preach that Bass will always do the things you don't expect. I use that train of thought when i go fishing.
Yep!

Great video, love 100 ponds, hoping you go to 500.
Idk about 500 haha
G’day from Australia. I’m new to your channel and have been watching a lot of your content - loving it!
Welcome aboard!
Thanks for the help.
Happy to help!
Try the Big Bite Baits Fighting Frog, it's a game changer for me.
Went out this morning in south Mississippi and the only thing they lit on was a square bill, absolutely blew it up.
Nice!
I guess a dropshot would have worked great there ! Good job great fishing video !
Next time!
I like the color on the frog
Custom!😂
looking for the video you mention around the 5:00 mark. Love the pond content as thats what I get to fish mostly in the early Spring
Thanks for the reminder, I must have forgotten to put it in the video description. It’s there now.
Last private farm pond i fished the spinner bait was the best bait. Pretty interesting.
That’s usually the case in most ponds
Just used the Mach Craw on a casting jig. Looks awesome, caught a good one
Nice!!
Its exactly how it goes when fishing you never know how its going to end up.
For sure!
Lets get em
Great video man
Appreciate it!
Awesome video! Caught a 3lb 10 oz PB on a christie craw texas rigged earlier today💪🏼🤙🏼
Great job!
I’m in GA, please come fish my pond!
Same here. I'm in Harris county. I got a bunch of ponds we can fish. Y'all are both welcome

Definitely something I need to be better at, giving them more time!

Okay, I use that same 7’4 heavy rod. Is it good for frogging and trying out S-wavers? Use it mostly for frogging on 50 lb braid rn
It’s definitely great for all of those things!
Great video as always, silky question, what are the hook holders you called, I've looked everywhere for them and can't find them.
Those are what the VMC hooks come on in the package!
@@TylersReelFishing gotcha, thanks for getting back to me. Keep the vids coming.
come to Alabama!! about 30 minutes north of Montgomery. Really cool farm ponds.

Would have been cool if you did the 100 ponds but each episode you did 2 ponds in a different state hitting all 50 states by the end
That would be! Would also be very expensive haha
Mississippi pond owner allow members? I need that peaceful destination.
It definitely is a peaceful property that guy has
Is there any lure recommendations for pressured neighborhood ponds in the north
3/8oz tungsten Thunder cricket with the new Mach skooler as the trailer. And a drop shot

Same chest mount. I just cut a hole in my shirt and feed the bracket through lol

Not always the case!
Tips to combat cold fronts during springtime????
Fish slowwww and drag a creature bait
Can you still catch bass and panfish before may?
Of course!
Don't you need a more finesse rig if the fish aren't biting whole or nibbling? Learned that one from you I think
