- Shot, then blown to smithereens with military-grade explosives, the 2006 killing of Altantuya Shaariibuu was one of Malaysia’s most sensational murder cases. Even though years have passed since the young Mongolian woman’s death, it is one case that has refused to disappear. If anything, the mystery has deepened.
101 East investigates those who were involved in the case and asks whether the two men convicted of her murder are “fall guys” for others who ordered the killing of Shaariibuu.

i may not have much knowledge in the subject of cognitive and behavioral psychology, but when someone is asked a question, and that someone repeats the question instead of answering it right away, that person is clearly hiding something. how do i know? because i was once a kid and i used to have a lot of excuses when i didn't finish my homework. i used to repeat what my teachers ask me. so, i know... i know.

IMO i favour the second possible situation, due to his long pause and he clearly look troubled by the question.

The fact that the reporter was deported evidences the guilt of the Prime Minister and his henchmen. This sort of corruption and criminality does not exist unless it pervades the highest levels of government. The public should boycott Malaysia as a destination or for product origination.

Untill now many are still wondering why the authorities refuse to find the real person responsible for ordering the murder of Altantuya, instead of putting the blame on the two policemen who were forced to carry out the execution. A simple check at the army's or police's armory record book and the officer on duty will surely show who gave the authority and permission to secure the C4 bombs on that date which were used to blow the victim's body. Knowing the strict law on weapons in Malaysis, surely the bombs were not easily available at any roadside stalls.
they mistranslated some of what Alrantuya's father said. u can't misinform what a mourning father thinks of murder of his daughter or anyone for that matter.
She's described by her grieved father as free-spirited, open-hearted (= casual and open-minded?), strong-self-confident (= over-confident = self-conceited) over her social status and of course the greediness of human nature which was not mentioned by her beloved and protective father that lead her into the trap of death in which she herself had to be accounted for it in the majority. RIP
I am so grateful that my family and I is safe and sound when we lived in Malaysia. My parents lived there for 25 years and i lived there for 11 years. I never knew Malaysia was this bad. Maybe because i was young.

I don't understand why the people in this video seem confused about the motive to murder her. It's pretty obvious isn't it? If fact, you'd have to be quit slow to not figure it out. They wanted her to "go away", and because they were powerful men in a corrupt system they were able to do what they wanted. The irony is she was killed so that the public wouldn't find out that a powerful and influential man was having an affair. Now not only does the world now know he was having an affair but also that he's ultimately responsible for her death.

if u have beeen following up malaysian news, around a few months ago, our Prime Minister sacked the deputy PM Muhyiddin Yassin(which has been seemingly attack najib on his another scandal of 1MDB) and the Attorney General, Gani Patail(which was rumoured to have sent arrest letrer to PM Najib) was also removed from his position. A lady from his party Anina Saduddin, was kicked out from the party after she sued PM Najib for corruption.. another party member, Khairuddin Abu Hassan was also stopped at the airport from going to australia, he was then charged for betrayal of the nation, and he's still in prison now. former opposition leader, anwar ibrahim is still imprisoned for his second sodomy case.. Mahathir, that was giving a speech in an event was forced to stop his talk and has his microphone snatched away by the police, and later escorted out by the police...

Sirul and Azilah did commit crime and kill Altantuya so they should received punishment for that. The police personel convicted to death sentence some 10 years ago are still alive. Both of them suffering pain and agony due to fear of death.Their death sentence was not carried out bcos Rosemah promised to get them pardoned by the Pardons Board. This did not work bcos Sirul is now in Australia demanding compensation promised by Rosemah who was the director of operation for the murder of Altantuhya.
Now this is the way to do reboots.
Justice will come soon!!!
