  • For 1920's Radio Enthusiasts, having the ability to power those radios without having to use batteries is an important consideration. Since 1987 the ARBE-III Battery Eliminator has been an important part of many restorer's workbenches. With the newly released Burgess Battery look-alike case, I thought it appropriate to do a review on my newly acquired Eliminator. After running it through it's paces, you will hear my thoughts on it, and hopefully have enough information to make a decision about whether it's the right fit for you.
NOTE: Antique Radio Archeology does is not affiliated with this company or product. I was in no way compensated or will be compensated for my review of this product. This is just my honest opinion on what I have experienced while using this product.

Thank you! After messing around with batteries last two years this is timely. I need to step up and buy one.

I wonder how much the battery eliminators actually cost during the 1920’s through the 1940’s when they were needed please.
