I’m headed to your website to by this spring. I’m picking up a marlin 917v tomorrow. I put one of your spring kits in my ruger american yesterday. Boy what an improvement. You guys are my go to for improving triggers.
I love the difference your trigger return spring made on my Marlin 925.It reduced the trigger pull from about 4.5 lbs to 2.8lbs. I had to learn to shoot it all over again. When I got used to it I can shoot much tighter groups than before.Great Product.SHOOT SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love these spring kits !!! So far I've installed them in a 25MN, 982VS, 882, and 882VS. Very easy to install and they make a big difference. I need to order 2 more for my other 2 marlin bolt rimfire guns and that'll be all of them. Thanks so much to the guys at MCARBO !!!!!
@neal leseberg That was 3 years ago. I might have commented on the wrong spring. I ordered the springs from MCarbo for those rifles. I apologize for the confusion on my end. Ask which spring they sell for the 25MN.
I had performed the risky ink pen mod on my decades old Marlin 881 but was always concerned with the safety aspects of that mod so after procrastinating way too long I ordered the Mcarbo trigger spring. It is day and night different from stock with a smooth and much much lighter trigger pull. I also ordered one for my old Hi-Point 995TS carbine and cannot believe how much better both triggers are after installing your springs. I should have done this years ago, thank you.
Yeah, so...wow. I just installed the spring in my 917 HM2 and it's a completely different rifle. I don't know what took me so long. I totally agree with the guy who said he was going to have to learn how to shoot his rifle again. That was going to be my lead comment. Now I have to take a close look at your Ruger American stuff.
I finally got around to putting the spring in my 917V. Easy to install and after testing it it was awesome trigger press!! Smooth and lighter than factory. Accuracy will go up no doubt...About to head out and shoot a hog!
I ordered your spring kit, but the trigger on my gun has little tiny pins and no E clips. How do I get those out? Just tap out with a punch? Oh yeah, loved your video. I've watched a lot of "how to" videos, cause I'm a hands on kinda girl, but yours are the best. Thanks.
The spring looks much bigger than the one on my 1971 Marlin Glenfield 25. The current spring fits into a slot in the trigger, not resting in it. Do you have specs on the diameter of the spring and length of the spring?
@@MCARBO awesome! Cause I already ordered it. Lol thank you for the quick update on tracking as well! On Friday will be ordering parts for the sub2k. Thanks again !
I have a 917 v 17 hmr the bolt when you cock it then push in and down the fire pin goes forward and does not fire. Do I need a new tiger I have the same tiger as you did your video on.
As a sales man you have to say the pen spring is inferior to your spring....... yeah it may wear out. But do you even realize how many junk pens I have laying around? Lol
@@MCARBO I'm trying to order this today as well as some other parts for my sub2k. HOWEVER please lmk if it will work with the marlin 925M. I assume it will but just want to be safe
I just got my trigger spring I have a Marlin 25 but my trigger isn't the one your doing no e clips on mine 2 pins that don't seem to move when I tried a punch, any suggestions? or I'll have to return the spring
Denny Allen My pin is actually threaded into the hole on my Marlin 881. I have to use a flat head screw driver to remove mine. But, if yours doesn't have a slot on the head of the pin for a screw driver, then I'm not sure how yours comes out. Hope this helps....

MCARBO told me that this spring is not good for the 25/25MN. Your thoughts on this, since you've tried it?

Exactly the info needed. Thanks for making this.

I have a 981T....I'm going to get one of these kits and see if it will breathe life into my T-900.

My 25N had a horrible trigger, had to be 8 pounds or more. This reduced it to less than 4, maybe closer to 3. Well worth the $20 shipped.
Awesome! Thanks Brother for sharing the results!

Will this work with the 925M? I assume it will but just want to be safe because I want to order this spring along with some parts for my sub2k
Yes Sir, it will work for the 925M

Do they fit the mod 25 and price
Would this work for the glenfield model 25?
Montana Griz Fan - Yes Sir it will work for the Marlin Glenfield Model 25.
MCARBO perfect! I needed to order your new sub2k charging handle too. Keep up the good work!
I was just about to ask the same thing.
shawn hilton awesome rifle! My biggest complaint is definitely the trigger. Will likely shoot it more with the trigger improved.
Montana Griz Fan I just happen to have to order some more parts, and I actually asked about this in the group the other night lol

Would this work for marlin 880 SS lr?
You guys love taking all my money now. Lol
Will this work on my Marlin 882 SSV .22 Mag ? I’ve bought 2 Marlin 60 kits and 1 795 kits and I love them
Yes Sir it will. www.mcarbo.com/store/p/31-Marlin-917V-Marlin-925-Trigger-Spring-Kit.aspx
Yes it will. Just put one in my 882SSV and it took it from a 5# to just under 3#. Can't wait to shoot it.

Try to use vise grip to loosen up the screw ( counter clockwise ) it work with my marlin 25N.
