You are welcome! Spiccato is something that will develop by itself after some time. But this method is the easiest way to understand and to put it in practice! Glad you found it useful! Have a great weekend!

I was trying to figure out why I could not do this bow stroke. A few simple words from you literally made me able to play Pezzo correctly now! It was literally night to day transformation, thank you 😃
Great to hear that! Awesome! It was the way that I learned the basics. Obviously it will take the time to master it and to polish 😊 Thank you for watching!
Great content, thanks for this amazing video! I was wonderig about up bow issues, when it sounds "weaker" than down bows. Maybe practicing with different accent patterns could help on this?
@the cello online Thank you! Glad you find it useful! Spiccato comes of course with time. But this is the ‘easy’ way to understand the bow stroke. I always try this way with beginner cellists and wow, some of them just get it immediately!

Bravo
VERY good and easy and understandable...you could teach cello teachers, how to convey as well❤
Glad it was easy to understand! 😊
Suggestion. First explain/demonstrate what a spicato is (and the other 2 you mention) then explain how to do it.
The timing is perfect! I mean, have 2 spiccato etudes to show to Pablito next class haha
Hahahaha! Maravilha! Which 2 spiccato Etudes? Ah, Pablito 😂

@Kaisuky Kamimura Oh no…poor thing! 😂 But…someone said once, if you can it slowly, then you can it fast!
