Your video reminded me of the beautiful memories I have of my time in Bari many years ago. I remember meeting the friendliest people I have ever met there. I had a bicycle and rode outside of the city to a private beach club. There I had the greatest time. The people fed me so much. Also, people in town stopped me to talk. Their hospitality was amazing. It was wonderful. The cathedral there as you know is supposed to have the remains of St Nicolas the original Santa Claus. Some believe his remains are still in Turkey though. Anyway that is why the cathedral there is named after him.
Interesting and helpful video. We are visiting this coming December. Did you find any problems flying the drone in Bari + Puglia? As I was thinking of bringing it with me. Thanks
@@joannecava2418 Keep pronouncing this way if you want. Do you live in Campania? I am curious. Here in Puglia we pronounce the "gl". It' s up to you. Noi pugliesi pronunciamo la g. Ognuno è libero di parlare come vuole, però non si può dire che sia il modo corretto di pronunciare la parola.
@@lollita411i am from Bari but living in the UK and bilingual, @joannecava2418 is right. English speakers pronounce GL like PooGHlia which sound wrong, they make same error with the word tagliatelle. So to teach them the right way we should write Pool ya In a way they skip the G.
@@robynho1158 I thouth we were talking about pronunciation not writing. Se non ricordo male lei ha detto nel video che si pronuncia in quel modo, non che si dovrebbe scrivere così per far comprendere agli anglofoni la giusta pronuncia. Ma se ho capito male io, vuo dire che siamo tutti d' accordo. Scusa se scrivo in italiano ma io non sono bilingue, non padroneggio l' inglese. Saluti da una tua compaesana
