Searching the safe for the formula, Luke and Laura get a few minutes alone on deck (Robert is such a good sport and such a gentleman.... really can't believe Luke would return the favor by.... oh, never mind!!!)..then trying to find another hiding spot gets them in a bind (this WOULD be a good place to stop for the night!!)

I know their chemistry and the stories, dialogue and beauty as well as acting and directing have so much impact on what we see. But even knowing that, and knowing all the famous couples in entertainment history, who had a genuine love for one another, my heart still believes there is an unspoken story there. I hope one day they will write their memoirs. Yet, I think much of that truth will stay forever between the two of them. As I suppose it should.
It is funny that she actually had a relationship with Kin Shriner (Scotty) before he left the show. She says she was very lonely after he left. He was her first kiss both onscreen and off.

I remember a scene where Tracy tells Laura that Luke is happier now because he doesn't have to be the hero...Implying that Laura made Luke always play the hero...That is sooo not true! It was Laura who begged Luke not to go with Robert on the ship..It was Laura who tried to keep Luke from doing anything dangerous...Luke told Laura that if she loved him, she would understand that he had to go with Robert. Luke is Luke!! He has lived in danger by choice. .Long before Laura. Laura completes him
And he still did these things while she was supposedly dead. Hence, the Oil Scam and Promethius Disc story lines. I never understood why the writers changed Luke's original character.
Well we all know hat Tracy is the big mouth that roared plus she don’t know what really went down between Luke and Laura. Tracy only heard from other people. Tracy don’t walk in Luke’s or Laura’s shoes....Tracy walks only in her own that’s it. Sorry but Laura knows Luke better then anyone in PC or anywhere else ... so mind your own. @@terricoleman5495 The only thing I can come up with is hat maybe they wanted to replace Laura for a time? Maybe or because Luke & Laura’s storyline was so damn strong. What is it that makes Luke sooo attractive? When I was 15, I was in love with Luke!
Seeing him thru Laura's eyes. His chat evolves the more he realised she loved him but not his world. The story draws you into the character's lives and you grow into the impression of their devotion and true friendship and joy.

In his own unique way Luke has charisma! It's his character and how he treats the ones he loves!
@@sandyRndisco1 he said in an interview that when GF looked up at him with those doe eyes was what made him attractive. On his own without her I think he is but he doesn’t think so. 1984 playlist he had a beard and a tan and he looked awesome.
the way his voice changes when he says"Laura" is so real.my husband would do the same thing. its just a natural thing that happens when u love a woman.

@sussezq It's so funny that people say that, reminds me so much of what people say about Dom & Julie, it's just a mutual respect and friendship as it was with Tony & Genie and of course both being amazing actors and have such incredible talent.
Luke has charisma! It's his character and how he treats the ones he loves that makes him! Now you see Tony Geary over in Amsterdam looking different, wanting to be away from the lime light where nobody knows him. He doesn't even want people to know where in Amsterdam he lives. It's like he is in his own little world by himself the way he wants it. A lot different from the character Luke he protrays on GH.
How I miss him on my screen, but I wish him all the best in the world. He's given us so much pleasure.
I honestly think that he was not at all well. His back was hurting him, complications from his diabetes, cancer scare, ect! The poor man was miserable! I think now he's a little better, but done with GH, and wanting peace and to be remembered in his glory days.

This episode aired months before The People's Court first aired. It makes me wonder if the person who selected their theme music was a GH fan. They really did have the best music on this show back then! Herb Albert became a household name thanks to General Hospital. 💕

Did anybody notice on here that the guy that they keep running into played a doctor on bewitched. I believe he played dr. Bombay. He just said to Laura my what a bewitching creature you are. I don’t know if that was a pun intended but it’s pretty funny to me

I know . . . and yet the love they felt for each other was palpable. I have my own theories about all of that, and yet, there were many more dances, smokin hot scenes and life shared between them. I always bought the idea that there was only one woman for Luke and one man for Laura . . .
I think in her return in 1983 they shared some steamy kisses. But when she came back in 1993 Genie was married and beginning to try for a child and Tony had made his preference for men and with the current lack of knowledge about AIDS back then necessary caution had to be taken. Not saying anything bad about either, but I do understand both of them wanting to protect each other.
