As a supporter of T1 since season 3 I am incredibly grateful for their long journey this worlds. Lets be real, Damwon is unstoppable, but Faker has proved so many things in his career and giving up is not one of them. Let the best win!

You know you've been a longtime Skt/t1 fan when you've felt what every achievement and heartbreak t1/skt have had. Rooting for faker and t1 but Damwon is a very formidable opponent so I'm hoping for a banger of a series!
I became one in the crappy year and was happy the year after. As a fan, T1s struggles have felt like my life with constant ups and downs but one day we finally get our shot to prove it. Not saying that mine is of same relevance but feel that is relatable
@@kr1st1anlol29 I understand what you mean. I became one during 2014 after watching faker vods. 2018 onwards was really a struggle as a fan as I went through a lot of denial phases(hard to accept that the once dominant team wasn't anymore).
I'm glad to be aboard of the skt hypetrain since 2013, witnessed the rise and fall of their Dynasty, what a ride.

My mind is set on Damwon but my heart shouts for T1. I'm hoping that this will be a great BO5 and not a one-sided stomp
I think a lot of Damwon's dominance can be chalked up to stage presence and familiarity with the teams playing against them. T1 KNOWS Damwon, and "should" have beat them in the regional finals. They were ahead in most of the games - it just came down to nerves for the younger players in the late games under pressure. If Faker can provide them guidance the the younger players shake off the nerves, T1 has a great shot at winning. Canna is much improved, and T1's botlane is the best in the world.
It will be a good series regardless. I'm predicting 3-2 T1
@@zebrion5793 tbh the rookies did well, Faker threw most of the leads actually. However, its worlds, its like Olympic, underdogs tend to beat their krytonites in these major event. So there's chance that T1 will beat DWG and cause a major upset. I'm definitely rooting for T1 later.

Im so thankful to see a match between this 2 giants once again. If there would always be new teams and all new players it would be way harder to emotionally connect to them. But Faker for example is just an eternal to which I can connect as to a really good friend. :)

This match is so hype cause it's a battle of the Great Old dynasty vs the Defending Champions of the world,The fight that will maybe Passing of the torch or the Rebirth of the Unkillable Demon dynasty back to the Peak of the world.
This semi-final has so much history to it that it should of been the finals but it is still going to be a hype match with the lck legends

I really want Showmaker to get his second Worlds title and be in the contender for the all-time GOAT, a title which only Faker held, for now. He's an absolute monster and I want him to get his recognition, not as "Faker 2.0", but just as "Showmaker"
But I guess best of luck to both teams. Faker getting another Worlds trophy is also a very cool storyline.
truth is khan really deserves some worlds, not just bc of his last tournament drama, hes been doing well since he was in longzhu back in 2017, ghosted and choked sometimes but his lvl has increased tons back to his golden era now, would be amazing to see him win it with damwons potential, since him showmaker and canyon can be as great or better than T1

@@gaaary Sadly Khan didn't perform as well as we all hoped in the series. But they won nonetheless, which is all that matters. Showmaker and Canyon are just too good, I really want them to be in the conversation for the GOAT of League, alongside Faker.

T1 hast the ability to beat DK and they managed to push DK onto finals in LCK. I believe they improved when they stepped into worlds but the same thing can be said to DK with 0 lost.

This reminds me so much of the ROX Tigers versus SKT. But that time Faker was at his prime with a very strong team Bang Wolf Bengi/Blank and Duke all of them won multiple trophies. Meanwhile on the other side was a team of Crownless Legends: Smeb Peanut Kuro Pray and Gorilla, all of them made their mark as among the greatest in their roles in Korea (With Smeb being the Best Toplaner of all Time in LoL).
Today it's Damwon Kia chasing the legacy of the Old SKT - the team that conquered everything. And T1 trying to regain the glory they once had. The storyline is a bit different, but the hype is almost on par with the former. I just hope this could turn into another Peak League of Legends 5-game series like the one we had in 2016 Semis.
(Not to mention GenG (or SSG in 2016) is on the other side of the bracket. I wish the Script writers weren't this lazy lol.

Youre wrong bro. They are not crownless. During that time smeb was considered the best toplaner, but the best toplaner in history was MARIN. He already proven it during splits,summer and worlds. Peanut was the best rookie agreesive jungler in the world, pray and gorill was the best bot duo that time along with madlife, ruler and imp.
That is why the 2015 SKT team roster is still considered the BEST and most DOMINATING team roster to be formed till this day.
@@KuyaRalphy I believe Marin had the highest peak but he was only the best for like one Split plus Worlds 2015 where he was the best player. Nonetheless he was great. Smeb, though, was more like Uzi who never won worlds but remained as the best in his role for multiple splits. Peakwise, Smeb was considered to be on par with Prime Faker. Smeb stayed S-Tier from Spring 2015 to Worlds 2018, which makes me believe he is the best toplaner of all time.
I cheered for SKT when they were up against ROX Tigers in world Finals 2015, but in 2016 I cheered for the Tigers because I believe they deserved to lift the summoners cup at least once. Truly one the best team to never win worlds.
