    DJ Nyame to succeed in America, you have to have a formal tertiary education else you will use your manpower to make money. God willing I make six figures and I sit behind a computer and work remotely. School is key here in America. Second your location and circle of friends is also key. I used to reside in Connecticut and my my set was different but when I relocated to DMV the young Ghanaian community here are all young professionals in the IT field making six figures and some even do multiple jobs make over $250K. So education and your circle plays a major role. "I want to quote Avhram "If the mind don't work as its supposed to its the body that suffers" So the truckers should stop blowing their horns lol. Get into IT or Finance (DoD) contractor and you will thank me later. Great Job DJ Nyame!!!

      That’s great that it works for you but not everyone is meant and can do that with the same result. You simply found your strength and you are excelling in it. Everyone is not going to be successful doing it. We all have our own path. That’s all I am saying.

    I dnt agree at the part she said opportunities are everywhere...she grew up there so she didn't taste most of the suffering here in Gh
    If she thinks there are opportunities everywhere why is she there in the first place and why are her siblings also there?
    Why didn't they all stay here in Ghana to do all those business they've established there huh?
    America will always be America...the land of opportunities

    • @franciscatetteh5523
      @franciscatetteh5523 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      There are rich people that are Ghana made who never traveled to America or western world to make it. That alone should tell you that you can make it anywhere. Find your purpose and work for it.
      I came her at the age of 12 (in other words not by choice but I am grateful for the opportunity and what it did for me.
      My other siblings were born here. (In other words this is what they call their home.
      Yes I will come to Ghana to turn some of the opportunities into businesses with the help of God.
      If the opportunity comes for you to come to America by all means take it. But don’t think that alone is enough to make you rich or successful. Again your mindset will determine your outcome no matter where you find yourself.

In hindsight I wish I had trained as an electrician or plumber with a master license years ago. In the building trades these guys are killing it unless there are lazy bunches like many African-Americans who do a sorry ass job. Some construction workers equally make good wages in Ghana. The only issue they are often looked down on, but most of them are building or have built their own homes. Also, most of them are reckless with their money because they know they can make money every week.
