  • Hello! I'm Kelly and I've had Meniere's disease since 2010. On May 25, 2023, I had a brain surgery for Meniere's disease called a Vestibular Nerve Section and Craniotomy after I exhausted all treatments for Meniere's disease. I kept a private video journal while I recovered from surgery and recently decided to make it public in hopes it would help others go through this surgery recovery. The date this video was recorded is listed below. I'm happy to answer any questions you have or talk more about my experience. Recovering from brain surgery was unlike anything I've every experienced. But I've come so far and I am SO glad I did it. Thanks for going on this journey with me!

Damn! Those flares feel like being hit by a train and then tossed into a whirpool. That must've been exhausting. I really hope those episodes become lees frequent until your brain rewires and resolves balance.
    Keep strong!

    Lol silly Bene..that is tape😂.
Good job though on helping mommie again. 🍀❤
I love the serious look on bene's face when he is on task. Like "i got you mom! We are getting this" .
I feld relieved when i saw you found a wheelchair in the garage. Maybe you keep it there in case you kneed it outside.
    Big hugs Marloes❤

Bene gets so serious when working/tasking! I keep the wheelchair in the garage to store it, but glad it was there!

I''m thinking of getting a service dog. What does Bene help you do independently and what do you still need help with?

What are you thinking about getting a service dog for? Service dogs can be used for a variety of reasons. The tasks that they do would help to mitigate a disability. If I were you, I"d think about the things you need help with and if could a dog help you with that. That would determine the tasks a dog would do.

I'm so glad that homeopathy medicines help you! I'm recovering from surgery, so my brain has to relearn how to exist in the world. Nothing would really help it. But you are welcome to share in case it would help someone else.

Aw thank you. 💜 That is so sweet of you to think of me and check on me. It's been a rough bit. But I'm here. Still fighting. Thinking of you. How are you doing?
