Airfix 1/72 WWII RAF Bomber Re-Supply Set- "Build Update #2" (10.13.18)

This is my "Build Update #2" video for the Airfix 1/72 WWII RAF Bomber Re-Supply Set that is my third entry into the "Bomber Command Buddy Build" being hosted by me, both on here and on Facebook.
In this update, I apply a gloss clear coat to seal all the painted parts, apply decals, add weathering, followed by a fianl matte clear coat and final assembly.
The next video for this build will be the "Final Reveal".

That's a sweet little set Martin. Very nice work on it, weathering looks cool. The maintenance tower looks the business. Kinda reminds me of a subbuteo camera tower I had as a kid.

I've been flying under the radar buddy! focusing on my '67' MGB GT at the moment. Just put out my first video in ages feeling inspired to do some more. Doing modelling stuff also, still have that A-26 to get on with. Now the days are drawing in, winter's on its way. Ideal quality 'Man Cave' time.

Hey Jim, I saw both of your videos you put out, both cool stuff! It's getting cold here, now...the nights this week are dropping down to freezing point and just below and the days are in 40's....chills my bones and we're not into winter yet, then we have to put up with -21'F temperatures....insane! So yes, ideal quality "Man Cave" time!

I watch them because I'm subscribed to you, so, I get a notification when you post a video. Yes...I hate the winters here, I want to get back to Florida where it's warm all year round and not one drop of snow!! The winters here begin in November and continue through April, sometimes into May...too many months of cold, wet, damp, snowy, icy and freezing weather! Cheers : )

it's going to be great ; these items should be in a public space like a museum ; some of the displays I have seen in various museums including Cosford are not to your standard

There are no aviation museums in my region, and the closest ones focus on American aircraft history, so they wouldn’t be interested in RAF related items. Besides that, after all the labor and love that I put into my builds, I become very attached to them...trying to part with any would be like giving up a child! 👍🤪
