    Nice, I need to black up my bumper pads also, was thinking I had to buy new ones. I’ll give the Rustoleum a shot

      John, That stuff has really worked out great. I use to work in a detail shop when I was younger before I became a Firefighter, EMTP, and Deputy Sheriff. I am fixing to do another video on the same trim coat but I will be doing my door handles. This stuff has really done well and maintained a great look. Cant wait to do the handles and watch that pop. Thanks for stopping by and please share the channel I am growing slowly but working and taking time to video is tuff..

    Looks good. I have 2014 Frontier, want to black out my rear bumper as well. Your truck looks great.

      Thanks Pedro, please make sure to share my channel with friends. I am fixing to post up a tragedy with my truck which is in the process of getting repaired due to a Deer deciding to run into the back passenger side. Once it is fixed we will continue to mods.

      Great man, I love my Frontier. Thanks for stopping by and I hope the video shows you the many options that are there to mod this thing out. But the sky is the limit. Make sure to subscribe, I will be working on some other mods including leds for the tag lights, Leds for the fog lights, custom decals for the rear doors, moving my rack to the camper shell, and doing a complete spark plug change to save 800 dollars. I will also be adding hood struts, and a cargo basket to the rack. I will be showing how to seal the basket so that it will help with protecting it from the elements. So stay tuned and watch for those and the upcoming Fishing adventures also.

    Really good job, I was hoping to see the part where you peeled the plastidip off the emblems. Assuming it wasn't too bad.....

    • @RisenSonAdventures
      @RisenSonAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it was not bad at all. Just remember to do multiple thin coats. I'm making decals to accent the front emblems and putting a Custom made Fontier logo on the rear door.

    One tap and it's totally jacked. Really bad idea to put plasti dip on chrome bumpers. Chrome is Classic, I like my Blackout, but Chrome is so classic and kool to view especially after polishing it with Mothers.

      Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. But this has been on my truck for a good while now and I have not had any issues. I think the trick is multiple coats and thin coats and dry time in between. Yes, Chrome is nice, I just wanted something different. please make sure to like and subscribe and thanks for the comment.

      @@RisenSonAdventuresreally so how is your grille and how many coats did you use?

    • @RisenSonAdventures
      @RisenSonAdventures  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Grill is still good even with multiple washes. I am going to have to do a review on the products and show how they have held up. I used about 7 coats. Thin is better and the last coat i used was the rustoleum rugged coat for the texture. Thanks for subscribing@@SG-2369

    Hey Watched you bumper and emblem with plastidip. I have the exact same model of frontier except mine is a 2020. I put a WAM Bumper on front with winch and light bar. Lifted 2.5 inches put 17 inch nittos with fuel wheels looks pretty good. Wish I had some way to show you. You may get ideas from mine and looking for ideas from you. Thanks Billy

      Thanks for stopping by Billy, please sub to the channel I'm still growing. That bumper I'm sure looks killer. I love this truck and I'm fixing to retire from LEO and I am looking at either a TACO or a New PRO 4X Nissan can't make up my mind. Nissan has been good to me, and I haven't even completed all the mods I have. I have a top rack I still have not put on.

    Like the video- question the dip. if you live on a dirt road does it chip the dip?

    • @RisenSonAdventures
      @RisenSonAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I live on a gravel road and I have not had any issues. Ever using the car was pressure washers and have had no issues. Even on the bugs on the front grill. No issues. Thanks for asking please make sure to like and subscribe and please share with friends. I'm working on adding a cargo basket next. But in order to keep it from rusting you have to do some mods to that. So that's coming soon.

    • @RisenSonAdventures
      @RisenSonAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Whitmore, also just another note about the dip. Recently my truck has been injured by a deer, and it hit the bumper didn't harm the plastidip at all. So make sure to give it a try it works great. And make sure to share the channel. Once I'm back up and running more mods to come.

    I am thinking about using this Rustoleum bumper spray for the plastic on my Frontier bumper. How is your bumper looking now? Did you apply any primer to the plastic part? Will one can be enough for the whole bumper?

    • @RisenSonAdventures
      @RisenSonAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok the bumper spray was only used for the plastic, and it has held up very good. The chrome bumper was plastidiped using regular black and them the rough coat. And One Can is more than enough Multiple light coats makes the difference.

      @@RisenSonAdventures Thanks. I did mine yesterday and it looks so much better. I did not use primer.
