    Custom coloured spells would be cool thing to cover.

      Those are extremely difficult to do, which is why so few modders do it.

    I've got a question,
    but first of all - thanks for these videos. I already watched it a while ago, but stoppen with skyrim for a few months and now im getting back into it. Also the modding.
    Here's my question: I made 4 extra Flame spell tomes, the apprentice flames, adept, expert and master flames. I added the correct effects to them, which was nothing more than changing cost and damage, but somehow, even though i also made castingperks apprentice, master, etc, the spell are still shown as 'novice' spells in the game's spell menu. How can I set the spells to apprentice, etc? I take it experience gained is linked to that.
    In addition, I'd like to slightly increase the range with each spell level. How can I do that? Because I can't find that anywhere either. Not in the magic effect, the spell, or (of course not) spell tome itself.

    Do you know how to make a follower that can conjure 3 familiars at once? I tried Apocalypse and fell in love with Herne and his wolves. lol

    i want to create a reanimation magic that will allow to reanimate ppl and creatures without having a level cap on the spell
    do u know how to do?

      When you add the magic effect to your spell, it would be the magnitude. Set it to something like 99. Should be able to reanimate just about anything.

    I've been at this one for a while....so far nothing seems to work.
    any way of reducing time on an active spell?
    for example:
    I created a custom spell oakflesh which will last up to 5 days....
    anyway of reducing this now 5 day length spell down to 1 second? [effectively removing it]
    I've already tried creating a duplicate version of the spell with 1 second hoping it'd overwrite the 5 day spell because they both contain the same keywords and spelldata.
    Basically what im looking to do is in another type of game.
    dragon age origins.
    the mage can cast a spell which buffs the teams weapons with frost/fire damage at a cost of the casters max magicka

    My issue here is when i did this my spell is added but its not in the tab everything says it exists yet its a no showanf therefor it cant be equiped/used

    Excellent, thanks for this. How does Spell *"skill usage mult"* actually work? A lot of spells have a value of 0.000, which implies it equals a total of nothing, but I don't know the formula.

    Trying to figure out how to change the size of a spell. There's a mod spell that I want to duplicate and enlarge, but no one seems to have a tutorial about how to do that.

    hello, i love to watch your tutorial videos. they really helped me in understanding the basics of modifying my skyrim, especially in creating independent followers. And since I first played skyrim until now, I have some questions I can not solve yet: how to make my follower use master level spells like firestorm, blizzard, etc. second, how to make my follower have the ability of a vampire lord, like night cloak etc .. can you help and provide complete and detailed tutorials on these things?     Hi! Thanks for the help the other day, I managed to place a book in-game that teaches a teleport spell (to the soul cairn). The visuals are quite nice, it looks like you soul trap yourself (soul trap sounds and blue light that usually comes from the person just killed) however I'm having a little trouble with getting two effects to work on a single spell. The game seems to only use one effect per spell instead of both (I wanted paralysis so the player looks looks dead and then wakes up in the soul cairn). Do I have a setting disabling two effects somewhere or is what I want only doable via scripting?

    Is it possible to change whether the spell will cause NPC's to become aggravated to you when you use it on people?

      Yes, that is part of the spell effect, and was explained in his other video. (I think)

    I'm trying to add a race ability that reduces fall damage by 50% but everytime I try something it doesn't work.

      see if you can't find the heavy armor perk cushioned falls.
      that reduces fall damage and maybe theirs a way to use its data for the custom race.

    could anyone help me?
    I want to make a mod for my war-mage character, that does the following:
    A custom sword, that instead of having the standard "grab sword and draw it out of it's sheath"-animation, it uses the "bound sword summon"-animation. Yes I could just use a normal bound sword spell etc. but I don't want this sword to be transparent, like the standard bound sword is and if possible I would like to add a different "glow aura" than the standard one too.
    so in summary:
    -custom sword
    -summon sword animation instead of drawing it from it's sheath
    -not transparent
    (optional)
    -custom aura (like for example from the "Enchanted Arsenal Mod")

      You might have some of the same problems I did. The default location values in the CK's prefs.ini file are completely scuffed sometimes and you need to edit them. You might see "X=345699" when it's supposed to be "X=215" or something.

    can you tell us how to make spells level up skills as we use them and how to make them not level skills as we use them? Like, say I want an illusion spell that is affected by illusion skill and perks, but it doesn't level up illusion but then i have another illusion spell thats also affected by the skill and perks but this time it does level the illusion skill.
