Happy with everything till (I am still trying to install) the passenger seat. Completely ruined what could have been a good experience. The passenger seat does not fit anywhere close to the driver seat. Very disappointed.
I was really excited for these and installing driver's seat feeling good period this passenger seat is nothing but a pain in the ass, And agreed it why the hell would they not make it a one piece like the driver side. this is ridiculous
My wife and I were shopping for a new (used) Tacoma, and the dealership had a 2013 with these covers installed. We sat in the truck and loved them! They are very cozy, and fit amazing! As soon as we got home from purchasing a 2010 Tacoma that day, my wife found the website and ordered these covers right away. With the help of this video, they were very easy to install and we absolutely love them!
Today I received my seat covers. I installed them and I was disappointed that the passenger seat doesn't fit as perfectly as the driver seat. The reason I buy these seat covers was because I thought they were specifically made for 2nd generation Tacoma , but it seems like they were made for a different year because there is a large open space at the bottom of both sides of the seat back. Is there a different product that would fit the 2013 passenger seat better?
Seems they just slapped 2nd gen on these and shipped em out. Doesn’t fit my seats, insane struggle to get them around the back of the front seats and connected due to back of oem seat Being attached to bottom of seat.
@@bradycarver6493There's a couple of little hooks on the back of the OEM seat cover that hold a flap down, you need to go under there first and unhook those then you can pull that flap up and put the straps through.
Better to remove the seats and fit the covers outside the car. If they’re custom fit, you’ll struggle more trying to get a good fit with the seats in the truck.
At the very Least it’s best to take the Bolts out and Rock the Seat back! On mine 22 the Passenger side and back seats fit well the Driver side was a little Puffy on the Base of the seat .
Been researching seat covers for the past three days for my 2010 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport double cab, and these look like the best quality, fit, and price of all the other ones i've looked at. The material and stitching looks high quality, and the hooks and clips are all built in to straps, and plenty of straps. Looks like it will fit well, stay in place, and be durable. Still looking, but these moved to top of list. I just wish it came in other colors than just black.
What I like the most about these seat covers is that they blend in well with the interior because its a two tone black and gray look

Whats the difference between the seat covers for this gen 2 model, and the covers for gen 3 models?
