Bought it on Monday, taking it in on Wednesday! Used it five minutes, then it quit cutting. Locks up, and won’t move blade! It’s great to have a good dealer!
Took it in and found out I hit the chain link fence and bent the cutter, which jammed the cutter. 5 minutes later, fixed, runs like new! Great dealer, great products! Kinda heavy for an old man, but resting often, helps! I’m happy & satisfied!

I have this unit. The head is heavy and can cause user fatigue. I recommend the AK30 battery as the slightly heavier butt weight serves as a counterweight to the heavy head.

I agree with the heavy head and I think the AK30 is a great idea to help counter. Great tips and thanks for watching!

I have one of these trimmers, it’s very well made and ideal for light to medium garden work. The machine is nicely balanced but with the optional extension piece the balance point alters and it becomes top heavy.

Amazing!! He took off at least 5 leaves off that first bush - I have no idea what he did to the second bush because I'd already switched off and went to a worthwhile demo/review (of a Ryobi actually)

I appreciate the review. To really address the question in the title, I wish you would have touched more upon the cons of this product. I suspect it is not so good for hedges with thick branches? I guess you can’t really put weight in, like you can with a regular trimmer?

Thats a good point. Yes, it does have disadvantages. It is going to be limited on the cutting diameter it can handle.

Very difficult to work. Too heavy.

Thanks Vincent and they run usually around $400 with the battery and charger. Thanks for watching!

@@WesternEquipment Thanks Brent! That's not a bad price, and includes battery and charger, not to mention the angles you can cut in, and the reach.

I got a z720e and john deere say it takes 10w30 motor oil but if I check with kawasaki it say that it takes 10w40. Can you help me on that please

You can use either one. The 10W-30 will just be better in cooler conditions. Good question and thanks for watching!

Beyond worthless on privet and boxwood, get a gas one.
