I like the anthology a lot better tbh. The Anthology highlights more of her strengths even if it’s weaker. Aaron Dessner’s production works a lot better than Jacks actually allowing more of her songwriting to strike. Stuff like I Can Do It With A Broken Heart hits less because of Jack’s signature production. Anthology’s a lot better even though it’s a weaker version of stuff from folklore or evermore.

Omg, I completely listened to 'I Can Do It With A Broken Heart' thinking it was robin...
honestly if you can't tell the difference in the songs, do you know anything about music? you said it was bad lyricism and only put one example, here i'll put some lyrics that i feel are great, feel free to contradict me if you think im wrong.
"And you say I abandoned the ship
But I was going down with it
    My white-knuckle dying grip
Holding tight to your quiet resentment"
if this one isn't good lyricism i dont know what is, you try and do smth better.
"For just one hour of sunshine
Years of labor, locks, and ceilings"
"Is it a wonder I broke? Let's hear one morе joke
Then we could all just laugh until I cry"
"I would've died for your sins
    Instead, I just died inside
And you deserve prison, but you won't get time"
I could continue, but based on the review you made on this album, I don't think your attention span is very long, I'm surprised if you got here.
About how every song has the same theme, yes, most of them talk about love, just like any other artist. You wouldn't say that about Ed Sheeran or Bruno Mars. But the theme of 'love' is so generic. The songs talk about so many different people and perspectives, and if you didn't notice that, I'd suggest paying more attention to the lyrics.

taylor fans love to cry and say wah wah wah it’s actually super good and ur dumb wah wah wah because someone has a different music taste than them like bro we don’t all like the same music but u can’t deny that the lyrics aren’t good and that a lot of the songs are bland and basic and sound very similar to each other

I personally took like 13 songs out of the 30. The songs I like I rlly like but as for the others, they either made me cringe, be uncomfortable or just bored. Im rlly happy with the songs I took out tho.

"1830s but without the slavery" Refers to the ostentatious fashion and lifestyle of the elites at that time; Taylor wants to play dress-up and ballroom dance at an old estate house. I don't know why this line is tripping so many people up.
Thanks for taking one for the team. I'm not listening to this album!

Yeah none of this reaction makes sense! Saying everything sounds the same is factually incorrect correct when she transitions genres throughout the albums starting with synth pop and ending on muted classical folk ballads, and in the middle she employs a new sound she hasn’t used before which is a morose dark western roots sound. Sooooooo…… yeah………

it does sound very similar and it is pretty boring and as someone who isn’t a massive taylor glazer i can’t say that a tiny tiny difference makes a song sound completely different
