ey brother , i hope u overcome this thing soon , hope you'll be doing great with life i have seen multiple videos of yours where you have been talking about some worse things happened with you or whatever . just wanna tell you that , grab your lief right now cuz its never late . keep grinding and make the greatest comeback ever
Rakoon, as an avid gamer I greatly enjoyed this vid. I myself am a video game addict. But, I also have a job and pay my own bills and taxes and actually contribute to society. It’s embarrassing to me as a gamer to see these guys who waste their lives on video gaming and make no effort to improve their own lives. Also, I absolutely agree with you on Grand Theft Auto! And similar games like Saint’s Row and whatnot. These game franchises, as far as I am concerned encourage violence and murder and I, as a a gamer, refuse to play them!
Thanks man!, being a gamer is fine, it's just people who dont do anything in life and mooch of their parents when it becomes problem. Kids are so impressionable. So much teenagers thinking they know everything, and that committing crimes is easy because they do it on these video games. Once they're in prison, they're crying for mommy.
I used to be a gamer when I was a kid. I graduated from high school in 2020 and that’s when I slowly began to lose interest in gaming. I personally think it’s a waste of time if I were to play again. Fast forward to now, I am no longer interested in gaming anymore and it has changed my life a lot. I must say it was pretty easy for me to quit the addiction of what I used to do back in those times. My life may not be perfect but I do tend to get lonely and sad. I hardly speak to most of my friends. Heck, my job I have even sucks sometimes. I mostly have to work outdoor. Anyways, great video as always 👍
Thanks! Definitely don't isolate yourself, go out and talk to a friend. Definitely don't go to parties or anything like that. If I was you, I'd find a genuine friend and go out and have a bite to eat or some place where you can talk. Venting helps. If I knew you in person, I'd get you to do that.
I've gamed since I was five! I've definitely lived through video game addiction. Rather than get into why that happened, and the mechanisms behind addiction in general, I'll just give what I find to be an accurate metric for knowing whether or not you're addicted to something. You have to ask yourself the question: Am I continuing this addictive behavior in the face of known, negative, consequences? Are my personal relationships suffering? Am I hurting my own productivity for the things I want to accomplish in life? Am I doing this instead of something else, and do I feel terrible that I didn't do that "something else" when I get up tomorrow morning? Is it draining my money? How do I feel fulfilled by this? Good luck!
This is definitely the conversation we should be having with ourselves. We should always ask questions, sometimes you might be too hard on yourself. If you're to hard on yourself, it's the equivalent of someone bullying you. Good advice!
I loved-love games since I was six years old, then I left the consoles in 94 and started playing games on the PC, then I went crazy, I did nothing but play, play and play. My father did too and he used to purchase all the games he saw in the stores. Those were unforgettable times, but today I am unemployed, my father left this world, my video card died in 2022 and I had to give up this addiction in a painful way. But games can be a purpose in life, even better if you make money with them.
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, not being with us. You seem to definitely not be, 28 yo obese unemployed guy who leeches of his parents, that's the worst.
@@AZrakoon So my friend, I worked for ten years in a private security company, I hated the job but the salary was good, but I was fired and didn't want to go back to working as a security officer. The problem is that I don't have any other qualification, so I decided to stay home and take care of the house and my mother.
I still play them but barely. Since I finished school I've been less and less invested in gaming. Nowadays I play the same 25 year old fps game when I'm bored and occasionally my Switch and that's it. Gaming used to be the only thing I cared about in life and now I just don't.
Sometimes it stops being appealing. It's what happened to me. I used to have a modded mustang, then I realized I needed a 4 door car, with good gas mileage.
I had a phase of playing very excessively video games (peaceful and calm games) and the purpose was to numb my feelings out, I couldn't bear anymore to feel my real feelings (sadness, terrible sadness about various things, and anxiety.). Playing this video games was nothing but a narcotic. So in this case I would say it was nothing childish.
if you neglect your responsibilities, it is. Other things like drugs, alcohol or risky behaviors can too. If playing video games helps you to relax, go for it. I'd start planning how to get out of that environment if I needed some sort of temporary escape. My mental health is the highest priority.
Hey man, this is off topic, but I was wondering your thoughts on guys who have never had a girl friend before. I know you said before that eventually they will come and she does not have to be a 10/10 but what should I do to find one?
It's very simple. Dress nice Be confident Be kind (just as nice as you are with your guy friends) Smile You're going to get rejected, despite the work. Eventually, you find one. On the date or when hanging out, you always pay. I don't know if you live in NYC, but if you dont have your car clean and presentable. Be on time. Keep the date around 2 hours long.
