Last week I was at a job interview and all the pens they had were not working properly, they were some kind of Bic knockoff. I was already tense and the struggle to change pen every 4 words didn't help. That was the moment I decided I wouldn't leave the house without a proper pen anymore, and I remembered this video I saw a while ago. Now my all metal Jotter is coming in the mail!

I've been using the exact same pen (the all stainless steel Jotter) for almost twenty years now. I love them and would never be without one. I am a prison officer so I have to wear a uniform to work every day and the jotter is the perfect pen that fits in my shirt pocket without lifting the pocket flap too high.
Totally agree with your analysis- they are affordable, classy, reliable and they look the part. Actually after watching a couple of your more recent videos, I went out and purchased another one just as a backup! In fact, since subscribing to your channel, I've also purchased an Opinel knife and a Leatherman Style CS as well!
Keep up the great work mate- LOVE your channel.

maybe you should try all stainless steel parker vector ballpoint, it has flat top so it would perfectly fit your shirt pocket without even lifting your pocket flap, just a suggestion. i own both vector and jotter love them both. the only con with the vector is the "tic tac" sounds made by the tip of the pen when writing (you know what i mean), quiet annoying but you can replace the original ink cartridge with some other option to eliminate that tic tac sound.

My dad had blue jotter from the 70's. Nice pens, when ever someone has selected their pen it shows that they care. Most people just use some free advert pens. (Like me, i really should get that blue jotter. Blue tip part and stainless end.)

After going from 1 model to another since 2017, I finally gave up on the iPad Pro as a note taking machine. Got myself a bigger iPhone instead, a cheap paper notebook and a Parker Jotter. Couldnt be happier!

I am here after 2021 EDC update video. First things first: Parker Jotter - in that brushed stainless stell version this humble pen is simple the best ballpen ever. Period. Excellent design, with tons of design heritage, affordable, EDC ready and with that so much satisfying clicking action.
Back to 2021: Dear TGV - I can be nothing but only impressed by your TH-cam videos improvement as well as your trully addiction to history and traditions.

Two tools I have carried daily for 12 years now; my Parker Jotter 51 and Victorinox Super Tinker.
The knife is the second one out of a pair I purchased, however the Parker is the EXACT one I purchased 12 years ago and still functions perfectly.
I originally purchased it because as a teenage boy I was enamoured seeing Pierce Brosnan as James Bond with this exact model in Golden Eye.
I use many pens and have numerous fine writing tools from my Grandparents in Germany as well as gifts from my parents; all of them know I enjoy taking notes the simple way and that means a good pen to take down the memo.
My Parker 51 has been my all time favorite and I was very pleased when I first watched your SKX review video as you used the pen to point out details on the watches as well as going down your note list.
If ever a pen deserved the praise of "pure class", I would say it is the Parker Jotter 51.
Your watch commentaries are what I keep coming back for but this was a smooth change and something different.
    Well done sir,
    Cheers!

I lost a blue jotter a couple of days ago after finding it on the floor of a corridor a few years back. It had a nice weight to it, an indestructible feel, always dependable. Brass threads inside.
As no other pen will do now I immediately ordered a replacement burgundy one off eBay for £3.99. When I inspected it on arrival I immediately thought “fake”.
It felt far too light, the metal parts rather tinny. The threads inside were plastic instead of the brass of my old pen. I learned after a little net research however that this is a progression of the jotter design. Anyway it does the job, but I’m going to hunt for one of the older(pre 1980) models with a little more weight to them.
I hope whoever found my pen gets as much pleasure out of it as I did !

It's great you still have your grandfather's pen (hope the monocle turns up too). "I" (gave it back to my mum after sourcing a replacement clip) still have my grandfather's Parker 51 from 1949.
It looks like the older pen is the ballpoint from a British Parker Duofold set. I have the fountain pen version in black, it writes beautifully - but it's not a take everywhere, throw in a bag sort of thing!
I use an all-steel Jotter too, hate the bp refills, love the 0.7mm blue gels.

Very nice pen, my father used to have one, I don't know if he still has it, I remember seeing it as a kid. I'm thinking of buying one of these, they look great! Nice video pal! I have my grandfather's hat which he never wore by the way, from the 1950's (everybody on that time wore hats) and his personal Parker 51 from his service in the Air Force in El Alamein, Africa war front during WWII. It is broken the front part though and I have no idea where to find its replacement, we're talking about a 1941 pen and in 2019 it is a little difficult to come by with a replacement parts! Anyway nice video!!

    Hi Tristano!
The Jotter is a bit to small for me hand and fingers nowadays, do you sir have any suggestions for me regarding replacing it? I absolutely love the looks of the Jotter, it really is THE PEN regardless what! The metal/black always been my choice, a classic. If you read this and take the time to give me an answer i would be ever so thankful.
    Regards.

So 40mm is only sold in grey then? Hmmm. I do like how the clasp is of a more civil size🙈
I think the rubber look is much sharper than the heavy bracelet. I hate cold steel in the winter. The rubber is a lot more toasty!
I've hijacked the thread. It's about PENS!
