    I've had a 07 350z since July 2016 and i've also owned a DE... Never had any issues with my HR. It does not burn oil. HR > DE by a long shot.

    Coming from an S2k and owning a 370z the Z33/Z34 chassis is definitely underappreciated. The Z33/Z34 chassis are probably 80% maximized of their full potential from the factory as opposed to the S2k which IMO is 95% ready from the factory. Which makes the Z a fun car that you can mod and improve upon drastically especially at its price point. The Z33/Z34 has now been made from 03-20, it sets up this platform to be used as a drift/track/autocross/drag car with OEM parts readily available for years to come. So yes if you are thinking of getting one now is a great time to buy one.

    Glad you liked the 350z Fenton, it’s such a rare sight seeing a stock 350z these days. Kids are just slamming them and putting test pipes and loud exhaust. I’d give it another year or two and G/Z platform stock in manual are going to surely appreciate in value.

    No way is it close to on par with the e46 M3 in suspension and chassis dynamics. With an open mind I cross shopped both (used) OEM at the time. The Zs ride was bumpy and jarring. Steering was vague in comparison.
    And let’s not forget the S54 was honored with the International Engine of the Year Award

    • @Soyblackpower
      @Soyblackpower 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Suspension setup is definitely comparable between the 2, but the M3 is obviously more dialed in from the factory, the aftermarket eliminates that. They way pretty similar, though the S54 makes more power stock and revs higher but has less torque, the aftermarket can close the gap. And the S54 is WAY less reliable. They have the same rod bearing problems that the E92 M3 has and has way higher maintenance costs for not to much more performance stock to stock. With some minor mods on the Z it's pretty much a direct competitor to the M3 and way more reliable than the M3 while still being like half the price it would take to even step foot in an M3.

    • @ryanmcburrows8051
      @ryanmcburrows8051 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I even add that they are closer in actual hp than you would realize.. s54 was rated 333hp before the SAE hp rating system changed in 2006-07.. if the hr was rated with the previous industry standards it'd likely rate 20-25hp higher
