@@schmebulockjizz The Weinstein Brothers were well known in the industry (besides the obvious OTHER things) for constantly meddling in the scriptwriting and post-production process of any film they produced. This is why something like Lord of The Rings, as you yourself mentioned, has those rereleases of 3-hour long cuts.

People on the right absolutely condone what he did, don't fool yourself. They condone it all the time when it's their people doing it. They only condemn him because he's a liberal and he makes liberals look bad. The kind of stuff Harvey Weinstein did is not only perfectly tolerable to many on the right, it's practically baked into their ideology. Abusing women, hoarding wealth, and limiting creative freedom are hallmarks of conservative mentality, not just now but always.
