You, absolutely, can! In fact, I was told by Garmin that that is the preferred way to do it. I've, since, stopped paying for Garmin Pilot and just load the DB onto the SD card in the GPS175 and let it cross load to the GI275s

I noticed that on both your GI275, in about the two o’clock positions there is a small elongated oval that has “ter” written with a line through it. I have the same situation, and can’t figure out how to eliminate it. Ideas?

TER is for Terrain system. Mine goes away once I get a GPS lock. It's definitely not there when I'm flying.
Do you have flight stream?
I do not. I use Bluetooth to send flight plans to the GPS175 and I can upload DB's over WIFI to the GI275 when the plane is not in motion.
