The bee gees had an incredible knack in creating memorable choruses that you can just sing along forever. As you listen to more of their songs you will find this to be very true . This has always been on one of my favorite songs of theirs bee gees forever!❤
Mo n Robin on backup,on this song. can't you tell, it's the BGs sound!!!!!..gives me chills . I'll never get enough of the 3 lads the ICONIC BGsxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Love to watch your facial expressions and little vocal out bursts of pleasure over a good song...like this one & Fanny...Bee Gees are & always will be the bomb!!
I didn't think you would ever choose this song to react to. It finally took Barry Wooten's different approach to grab your attention. Kudos to him!! To me "Love So Right" is special indeed and I love it and think that now you might too. So enjoyed your reaction. The backup singers were all Bee Gees singing falsetto to perfection.
Maurice n Robin are singing on this backup @ times or Barry ...they all sing harmonys at times, on their 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶 .songs...so gifted the very best group ❤
This song was used in the movie "Blue Valentine" with Ryan Gosling. The song was written in 1976, before their music was dubbed as "Disco." This is an R&B ballad. They considered themselves to be an R&B band. My favorite version of this is the live version on their album called "Here at last... Bee Gees live." It is incredible. It is before the days of Auto-Tune. The falsetto is unbelievable!
Thank you for finally playing this song. It actually was in the top ten in 76 because it was on the radio regularly. Love your critique of songs you do.
Ok. Agree. Today this is my favourite Bee Gees song....so far. Thought it was Bodyguard 5 minutes ago, but there you have it. My favourite Bee Gees song meter has the staying power of a.. What? Can't think of anything without staying power while listening to the Bee Gees :)
These 3 guys ( Brothers ) had These incredible voices, almost everybody talked about Barry , Well as the older brother he was the leader but Robin and Maurice also had this incredible falsetto range in their voices, these guys and their younger brother Andy were blessed with these out of this world voices , so , it was not just Barry , Maurice was the multitalented one , he played several instruments and he made some very important arrangements in the music they played and sang , Maurice was the brains behind Lights on Broadway and other songs , these guys , the Beegees were out of this world singers and composers, they had more number Ones than any other pop group in history and they arranged a lot of number ones for : Kenny Rogers , Dolly Parton , Olivia Newton John , Tavares , Ivonne Elliman , Dione Worwik , Samantha Sang , Lulu ( Who was married to Maurice ) , they wrote the score for several hits from Hollywood like : Staying Alive , Grease , Ghost Busters , ••••. The Beegees were really great and under rated , they were Awesome, only Barry remains alive , Andy , Maurice and Robin died so young. They were Formidable and Awesome Singers and Composers . AWESOME .
I love 99.9% of their songs, and I say this because I haven’t heard every one of their songs. So I guess there has to be at least one I don’t like, NOT!!! Love the Brothers💔😢🔥💔😢🔥❤️🔥👑
High praises from you!! lol! Your hard to impress! This is a great song, and for some reason, they never sang it in their concerts or made a video. Makes me wonder if it wasn't a fave of theirs?? All I know is it is one of mine!
They performed it on the following tour, a recording of that was on their live album "Here At Last, Live" and they also performed it on the 1979 Spirits Tour. I'm assuming once they got back to touring in 89 , there was less falsetto as it was harder to sing it live with their aging voices by then.
Maurice plays keyboard among all the other instruments he is so talented..background harmonies are Robin n Maurice the twin brothers of Barry..they all sing in the background..at times..no one else....
Maurice does play a lot of instruments. But let me say this, Maurice contributed a lot to the 70s style groove. His bass lines were, well, pretty remarkable! Isolate the bass, and you’ll see, uh, hear what I mean!
Thanks for the reaction, Jay! When this song came out I used to weep... and I was only 8 yrs. old. I didn’t know the title, or that it was a Bee Gees song until 5 or 6 years ago❣️🥲
@@triad5766 read it again mate. It says and I quote "The harmony that Maurice & Robin do together has my head just floating". The Bee Gees actually were known for their 3 part harmonies. There were 3 of them, not 2.
@@TheBrownlj - Yes. Maurice and Robin sang harmonies to Barry’s melodIes. Though live Robin did the melody on this and Barry did high harmony, but in studio Barry does all three and then they probably sing around a mic a few times, since you can hear Robin clearly. Anyway, I’m sure Carol is aware of the fact they sang in 3-part harmony considering she’s a fan of them lol.
They had MUCH MORE freedom with this album including management/production, which songs were included, AND album cover-THIS was the first one they had ANY input on!
Jaybril If you like love so right you will definitely love the way it was. I’m telling you it’s right up there with love so right no doubt. It’s a Melodic song. Thank you.
I so enjoyed your reaction, but more than that, you get me to re-learn these songs that I know well and love, but haven’t really truly appreciated for quite awhile. Your reactions are making these songs new to me again and even more appreciated. Thank you.
Love so right Love So Right. Brilliant song and somewhat unrated if anything. This song and Album properly started their late 1970s drive beyond hyperspace. Nice one Jay.
I love the Bee Gees. Always have. I have a song I would l like to see you do a reaction to. It's by "Supertramp". The name of the song is "Take the long way home".
I have to agree with you, Jaybriel, the strings are subtle but really bring out the emotion. When it was played on WPRO FM Providence R. I., the audio processing of the station raised the midrange and those strings (along with their reverb ) made the strings stand out with Barry's vocals! Tremendous listening. Enjoyed your review.
Please react to Wildflower sung by Maurice in 1981 and railroad by Maurice from 1970 I think ...and Saved by the Bell by Robin from solo album Robin Reigns...when they were broken up for 15 months and Somewhere..from the West side story....Robin sang this when he just turned 16 and his voice had broken...took 1 take.... doesn't sound like Robin...but shows how versatile his voice was.
You need to listen this song on the live album. It is even more beautiful than the studio version. And I prefer the live one over the studio one. It is outstanding!

Barry Gibb is absolutely brilliant in this song. So are his brothers, MAURICE and ROBIN, who sang the background on this song.

Amazing R & B song. One of the best from that era. Very underrated.
Love to watch your facial expressions and little vocal out bursts of pleasure over a good song...like this one & Fanny...Bee Gees are & always will be the bomb!!
Brothers are the back up
This is the song I like best with Barry’s falsetto. He was definitely in his prime.
the love version is awesome
What a beautiful song. Another gold gem by the Bee Gees.
thats the way they roll
The twins were perfect to.gorgeous harmonies.....
Barry was also in the harmonies. It was all 3 of them
It's Mo n Robin the twins singing background always 2 of the brothers singing in the back...of their songs
I know...that's why I
recommended this song since last years....waaaahhhh
His brothers are the back up, they all can do high voices too. You should have seen this live--killer!
All 3 of them were backup. Its their 3 part harmonies
This song is sooooo under-rated. Beautiful song. Great reaction. Again.
They are amazing
No, the background singers are also Barry and ofcourse Robin and Maurice.
Another good stone Bee Gees's jam!☺️

This is in the same category as Fanny as one of their best non-disco hits.
Well this is basically CotW’s rendition of “Fanny.” Identical chords.
“The Way It Was” is this album’s “Songbird” too.
They are all beautiful in this song..perfect harmonies..gorgeous BGs...❤❤❤
Certainly among their best Jay! Thanks Barry.👍
