Born in the 80s I heard some of the oldies growing up but not all of them. Now's my chance to figure out what happened with music right before I was born.

This is my favorite song by the Beegees
Love this Carpenter Christmas song. So great…thanks for reacting! 🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅
Man, I literally had a imagination vision of diverse people coming together in reconciliation just listening along with your video. It was crazy😅.
Only The Carpenters can take this gentle childhood Christmas song and make its amazing…Karen’s gorgeous voice & Richards beautiful arrangements! ❤🎶🎵♥️
Who cares if this isn't one of your favorites. And who cares about the key changes? Really!?
The best song by her
The talent level Karen had reached to the stratosphere.
Hope your days are going well, think I read a comment about you finishing a degree so congrats. Would love it if you found the time to make some more videos but if not thanks for the memories and have a great life. Some of your vids will always be special to me so live long and hope all is well. Happy season too 🎉
Thank You❣️
She is like Nina Simone, jazz, pop, soul, gospel too... incredible performer.
I am not going to even sugar coat this. There is something completely wrong with you. Perhaps it is because you have the musical knowledge of a gnat ? And that was evident because you made no comment on her technique or music theory . I am an extreme metal kind of a guy ( Death and Black metal) and I not only get it , I revere her most brilliant singing. Stop making reaction videos. Because it is obvious this is way out of your depth.
Appreciate an honest reaction channel ... despite disagreeing with your dislike ... its ok keep it up
TRASH, ITS NOT A LOOP I CAN DO MUCH BETTER THUMBS DOWN
Dionne fan from the early 60’s when I was a teen, actually 14. I loved this song.
Could listen to this for Hours!
Karen and Richard were both so talented. Karen sang like an angel and Richard’s gorgeous arrangements surrounded her beautiful voice and together they made magic ! ❤❤
Regarding the song's chart rankings... most all the songs ahead of it are likely all forgotten. 😂This song however is legendary. Many times chart success is dependent on what is going on in society and the world at the time it comes out.
This gorgeous sound by Neil Sedaka/Phil Cody and sung brilliantly by Karen and Richard’s beautiful arrangements. ❤
Thank you ❤
Those unexpected extra beats is a Benny Andersson signature !
The better music. Her mother thought 😢
The carpenters art and influece in the music cant be matched even by all the other icons, Houston, Aretha, Straisand, Warwick together
Karen talked on The Johnny Carson Show about the tour in Japan and how she sang in Japanese…they were huge there. Karen loved children. This was fantastic and thanks for the great reaction. 😊😊
Never seen anybody own an audience with one song like this ever, wow!
Incredible performance by Eddie Holman. Brought down the house, crowd went crazy. You rock Eddie!
5:01--"* 13 years after Robins reign"yes i just played most of my life earlier that's on Robins Reign recently "🙇🤷" what day is it 🤔"now 😅' i feel like i done a couple Jerry's what did they call that a musical jerry Lewis Marathon / Telethon "'uhuhm'''anyways in America we would do fund raisers and music artists would sing to help little kids so im gonna now see if Robin was on the jerry lewis telethons "ever or Dionne Warwick or Barbara Streisand.
You" done very good and im watching again to write two things down on paper ......&-thanks i think you are fair nothing bothered me.
Pretty good watching you so far @**1:17"""1:50 your still doing good 😮😊 I don't know what your gonna "say though that could mean anything 🤔
Jay, im so happy. Most of the songs that mo is lead are the ones you really like. 🎶🎶🎶❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Karen always said she was a drummer who happened to sing. I believe and could play base too. Karen was an award winning jazz drummer. Buddy Rich loved her drumming! 🥁🥁
Speechless, the best!!!
With u theres a heaven so earth aint so bad!
Weekend in new England try that one
All I can say ..I love it ❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful ❤❤
I'm very disappointed that you didn't seem to be impressed with her INCREDIBLE voice!!! How many singers have you ever heard that can do what she just did?????? Sorry, not a fan..will not be subscribing.
Awesome tune....takes me back to 70s...my brother had thus album..just bought it again. Awesome vocals and musicians. Great iconic band, from the golden age of music...rock, soul, R&B, funk. Love the guitar and Fender Rhodes on this song..and the vocals of course.
This song makes you think. It touches the soul in such a beautiful way. You were so busy dissecting the song you didn’t feel it. Sad.
Another great song. I love them.
ABBA reached the pop summit with the 1981 The Visitors album! One of the greatest pop albums ever made ❤
it was an Oboe......
I would never subscribe to your channel. You're supposed to be reacting to the song -- not saying it's not what you expected. You sounded like a moron.
I love the part that comes with the whole song. She could make you believe that old boy was coming to town! Although he won't.
It you are triggered buy this song then “never had a dream come true” and “what might have been” will surely bring tears to your eyes ❤
Well they wrote over 1000 songs had over 6000 covers made of their songs and wrote for many other 'A' listers. You will have plenty to chose from. They were simply the best in the world at what they did. I miss them so much.
They did use traditional Japanese instruments in this song. Not all synth as many bands would do.
Karen’s voice was spectacular and so emotional and Richard did such great compositions on the songs. The reason it didn’t don’t no. 1 was Carol Kings Tapestry Album song hit no. 1. ❤❤
The intro is sang in French
My Love My Life really brings out the angelic voice of Swedish singer Agnetha Faltskogs voice. My very favorite on the Arrival Album 1976.
