whats up man!! I used to own a 2.5R revo, one of the early original ones that came out. Basically the same as a 2.5. Honestly without the VTEC like my Integra GSR has the 2.5 and the 3.3 perform almost the same. It's all just hype I think. IF I had a decent nitro engine Dyno I would test them all out, an stope these conspiracies. In fact I guarantee I can even take my old Team Losi XXX-nt with a basic .12 OS CV and still win on this track, even though it's rated at only .5 HP. It still has alot of low end wheel spin.
hey bro! YUP!! the 2-piece ARRMA guy is a true RC OG btw, he has some vintage nitros including an associated MGT 4.6 too. You will probably be seeing more of him in videos soon. There was a giant nail sticking out of one of the side guards on that track and he drove right into it, it was unavoidable. I felt bad.

hey bro!! Yup, the T-maxx Gang is never borring,. I must say it's not the perfect top speed runner for a huge track like that, but it can hang with most electrics due to the fact they they are all over the track because they are light and loose control from road imperfections.
yup man! We got the best of the Traxxas Nitro Offerings. The amount of cool tech in such a small chassis is incredible, once you think about it. Even the reverse system design is very intricate.

hey bro! That is a Go Pro Hero 8 black. BTW, it has even better stabilization than you saw in this video. I was using basic "hyper smooth". There are also multiple levels of the stabilization which will make it even more stable. Only issue is the extra stabilization will crop about 10% of the viewable area, that's how it works. Very good camera, and I record only in 1080, even though it's 4K capable.

Nitro gang i need help. . traxxas 3.3 wont move sometimes just revs. . . i have it at stock settings for 3.3. . it will not go fast at all and burns a whole tank in about 7 min trying to get it to go. Will not rev high enough to shift. Please help.

hey bro! LOL, yup the got the RC COVID 19 AKA Stripped Diffs. I have a Jato 3.3 also btw, mine hit 64 MPH stock. I watch the BUG 404 too btw, and yes some of the early 3.3 motors had bad connecting rods and would tend to snap. Honestly that has never happened to any of my Traxxas Motors, I run mostly on the Rich side and I always check my engine temps. I would highly suggest the reason many have engine problems is because usually the Traxxas Trucks are their first nitros, and they are beginners who don't tune properly and overheat the motors. I would say statistically they have the same chance of engine failure in other RCs, too.

yup! Thats a generic traxxas wheelie bar that comes standard on the 3.3, it's removable easily btw. I honestly rarely use it because in normal driving I don't do wheelies. IT's mostly just some rear protection for m in case of the the crazy electric tries to rear end me. Although since it's got huge MT tires and it anyone approached from the back they will just flip, like it happened a couple times in the video. ahahah. This the James Bond of Nitro RCs, bro!! We got rear protection.

hey dude! Yes, the bearings are a weak spot, I do agree. Although for a 8 dollar piece that will last multiple years it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Also I have figured out how to properly fix the slippage issue, just by sanding the starting shaft, problem solved. I admit a starter box is the most ideal method, but its not something I currently have, you know.

Anyway, I usually just remove the backplate and just wash it all with a toothbrush in the sink, then oil it up and it's fine. Even it isn't 1005 free, as soon as you run like half a tank it will be smooth. IF you don't want to run it under the faucet use a hair dryer and put either wd-40 or after run oil in the block, it will free it up instantly with heat. Let me know. We need to keep the T-maxxs on the road, lol..

hybrid i have the same tmaxx 2.5 model as mike and mine wont shift ive adjusted the shift point and that worked but then it stops the next run can you help me with it do you have a discord account?
Whats up my dude!!! The Revo Gang is going strong in my house right now too. Currently I've got 4 Revos, only 2 are operational. LOL. I gotta say though, I drove my revos around that same track and the basic T-maxx seems to handle better, I'm baffled!! Revo was a flip fest. It sure does looks good driving though.

hey buddy! whats up! My T-maxx runs at around 225 degrees at most. It is safe to run to 270, but I would not recommend prolonged temp that high, 240 is my safe limit to be honest with you. The leaner you run, the laster it will be, and 270 Is pretty lean. Nitrogang!!
hey bro!! YEP! you gotta get that great gas RC out! I try to drive mine at least once a month so make sure the fuel system gets a workout and nothing gets gummed up in there. Plus the Barca is a good 4WD chassis, this is only a 2WD, and yet I still spanked the electrics, lol.

hey bro!! thanks for watching! Yup! this T-maxx never lets me down. It might have a slipping bearing, but it's been doing that for over a year, and it still runs strong. But soon I will be doing a maintenance video on it. Most likely needs a new clutch too.

@@richcarrier1947 Awesome RC man!! I need to get an original T-maxx one day. Anyway, I usually just remove the backplate and just wash it all with a toothbrush in the sink, then oil it up and it's fine. Even it isn't 1005 free, as soon as you run like half a tank it will be smooth. IF you don't want to run it under the faucet use a hair dryer and put either wd-40 or after run oil in the block, it will free it up instantly with heat. Let me know. We need to keep the T-maxxs on the road, lol..

whats up man! YUP!! the Nitrogang had a good day today! Nothing broke, other than some diffs on the electrics, ahaha. They deserved it. Thats the main reason I started getting out of electrics, I cannot be dealing with diff problems, pisses me off.

hybrid i have the same tmaxx 2.5 model as mike and mine wont shift ive adjusted the shift point and that worked but then it stops the next run can you help me with it do you have a discord account?

Whats up my dude!!! The Revo Gang is going strong in my house right now too. Currently I've got 4 Revos, only 2 are operational. LOL. I gotta say though, I drove my revos around that same track and the basic T-maxx seems to handle better, I'm baffled!! Revo was a flip fest. It sure does looks good driving though.

hey buddy! whats up! My T-maxx runs at around 225 degrees at most. It is safe to run to 270, but I would not recommend prolonged temp that high, 240 is my safe limit to be honest with you. The leaner you run, the laster it will be, and 270 Is pretty lean. Nitrogang!!

hey bro!! YEP! you gotta get that great gas RC out! I try to drive mine at least once a month so make sure the fuel system gets a workout and nothing gets gummed up in there. Plus the Barca is a good 4WD chassis, this is only a 2WD, and yet I still spanked the electrics, lol.
