Great comparisons. I have the Marantz 7000N and it is a marvelous do it all device with its connectivity, great sound, and all round usability. I would like to have the loudness control that Yamaha has. This is an old fashioned control, widely used in 1960s- 1980s amps and I used it all the time in those decades.

Я купил конденсатор Nichicon HI-SOUND KS 56V15000UF 35x50 и заменил родной на 6800 мкФ, и зашунтировал его плёночным конденсатором К73-17 4,7 мкФ. Звучание значительно улучшилось - басс стал более глубоким и упругим, средние более мягкими, а высокие более прозрачными. Система такая: ЦАП SMSL VMV D1se2 -> Yamaha a-s301 -> Wharfedale Diamond 12.4.
@@user-fvit65os graves até podem melhorar um pouco mas você dizer que os agudos mudaram não procede, a capacitância maior na fonte não influi nos agudos. Podem até parecer mais suaves porque os graves se tornaram mais cheios mas é ilusão auditiva
the yamaha AS501 is better than most marantz amps. It's better than the 7000, and it's better than the Model 50, even though it costs four times less. Marantz and Denon are the worst brands on the market right now.

I am disappointed Yamaha A-S301 only uses 6800uf capacitor while Maranrz uses 15000uf

Depende da potência a ser filtrada… 6800uf para uma potência de até 80W é um ótimo valor
