Poor Orange! Haha. I look forward to learning what happens next! This is a great series so far, so easy to understand. Thank you for creating these videos!
I LOVE your teaching style. You pack in so much information while keeping it easy understand and remember. And thank you for teaching 100% in Mandarin, it really helps me absorbthe language. I learn so quickly watching your videos!
I will be recommending this channel to others! 😊 I hope you are able to follow through with the rest of the series! ❤ are these stories that you have done in your own classes? How far have you taken students using this approach?
We use different one, another system of 10 picture books that I picked in my own classes~ 10 stories will help students from absolute beginner to lower-intermediate. and then we start Chinese history series normally because they can understand more complicated content related to history or culture :)
@@brittneycheray5204 I think we all feel so for the first time implement☺️ do preparation as much as possible and start to do it~ you already success 50%🤗👍👍 I believe you will be better after each time implement!~~
Thank you for the videos. They’re really helpful. I have a question about your pronunciation of ‘聊天‘. It sounds different from what I’ve heard from other sources, specifically the ‘天’ part. Is that a regional thing? 谢谢你!
Yes, in Mandarin Chinese and northern part people say more like me “liáotiānr”, and in southern part, people are more like “liáotiān” without the “r” sound~
Does 边 in these sentences mean "while" or "at the same time?" I eat a mango while watching youtube? I see the hanzi translates to "side" or "border" but that doesn't quite fit in the context.
yes you are right. 边v1边 v2 means doing V1 while doing V2. also 边 means "side" when in the context "她在左边←,Steve在右边👉🏻" "ta1 zai4 zuo3 bian1, Steve zai4 you4 bian1" she is on the left side. Steve on the right side
