That worked so much better than I thought it would! I was afraid that it would look like a stain and be something that you couldn't get off. Thank you for sharing that!
Awesome video I grabbed 91% rubbing alcohol and leather conditioner for after I used cotton swabs After cleaning off the embossed letter and used cotton Balls to apply my conditioner then buffed it and It’s gone great video thanks 😊 I bought to beautiful new bibles at an auction brand new but embossed in gold and now I have myself two beautiful boxed bibles to share with no reservations 😊😅
@@planningwithjohn I tell ya when I got those bibles in hand and they had a name that would stop traffic on them lol…. I knew I had to find a way and I was amazed that this technique was so easy. I was listening to as I snagged the items necessary. I don’t even have and indentation from the previous embossing 🙏❤️
That was brave👍🏻! I’m glad it worked and now it’s more comfortable using the TN😊! Thank you for sharing this information, it does help! Take care and have fun 💗🤗!
Excellent! I have been wondering what it would take to remove those embossings. On one hand, I am glad it is that easy, on another hand, it shows how fragile those embossings really are. I guess more permanent embossings would be the kind Chic Sparrow does where they burn it into the leather. I would be curious to know what this process would look like on different color leather as well. Thank you!
Hi John! Do you think this will work just as well with the white embossing? I got a great color leather in the sale, but it def. has some embossing i'm not a fan of!
Azura KM it really did! Now if someone gets a mystery sale Foxy Fix that the love, but not the foil embossing they can try this and be much happier with their item.
I might use an orange stick the kind they use to push cuticles when you get a manicure, with a small bit of cotton in the tip fir a finer detail application of the alcohol.
You are the BEST John! Such a service for our community...thank you for taking the time to do this! Cheers!

You went with the pink! Gorgeous! I now low key want one in B6.
Becque Vesper I went with pink for about 1 day. I switched back to brown. 😆
That was amazing. I was looking at a second hand bag that was embossed but passed because of the embossing -- now I'll have to reconsider.

That sounds like it really would do a great job! I just used what I had on hand. I’d love to hear how it turns out. Thanks for watching!
Do you think this method would work on the lush leather?
